I just want to say, this video saved my life.
Thank you so much for your clear instructions. This video is the only one that has made sense to me after looking at several ways of calculating this Pearson's coefficient. I name you the Go-to person for all my stats queries. :). Its tough coming back to this after so many years of being away from numbers and stats. Thank you ever so much.
Thank you Dr. Eugene for taking the time to produce the example and walk us through it, very interesting and clear, thank you.
Great video, this is now the second video I've watched posted by Eugene O'laughlin and I'm amazed by how well he actually teaches you to complete the formula. Thanks a lot!

Agreed, this made absolutely no sense to me until I watched this. Thank you!!!
Finally I found someone who can explain it in simple words and show how to do it step by step. Nothing but appreciation for such a talent.
Very informative for a layman, thank you! I've watched the Pearson and the Spearman correlation videos and now have a clear understanding of how to calculate correlations for a task I'm doing.
I have an exam tomorrow, and your video was soo comprehensive and straight to the point. I thoroughly enjoyed it and gained a lot.

Zabe Elize For real! Not everyone is cut out to be a professor!
I have spent a week trying to figure this out, even used a scientific calculator, and still could not get the correct answer, figuring it by hand was a last ditch effort and your explanation made sense and I was able to finally comprehend this, thank you
Thank you so much for this video, I've watched a lot of videos regarding to this topic and my head is a total mess for the past 5 hours of sitting and finding clearer and much better explanation for this one.

Thank you so much! We went through several different formulas in class and I had become so confused. You've broken this down so clearly. Many, many thanks.
This is a great video. The instructor explains the equation very well and gives a great step by step explanation on how to use it. This video helped my understanding of PCC immensely.
This was a much simpler and clearer method than what I remember learning in college. I understood everything. Thank you so much for sharing this video
Thank goodness I found this! Dr. E. is saving me as I work my way through a Grad stats class after not taking a math or stats class for years!! I haven't used stats in a very long time... these videos are a saving grace for anyone needing extra support ! Thank You!!!

Thank you so much, I did not have access to a graphing calculator and needed my linear regression for a formula, this taught me perfectly!
Writing about this in 4 hours time, let's just say you saved me. Thank you
This is by far the best explanation I have seen! I think you've just saved me, thank you!
Your method for explaining the lengthy calculation process is truly impressive!

You have no idea how much this just helped me. Thank you!
Sir, I greatly appreciate this with all of me. Bless you!
Thank you for making it simple. You're a true teacher.
Thank you! I honestly had no idea how to work it out and my teacher made it so confusing. I finally get it! Great video!

omg this was so easy to follow thank you so much, i was basically pulling hair out trying to figure this out on my own
This video is a godsend! Thank you so much! I'm taking graduate level statistics after not taking a math class in 15 years! I needed this because the book didn't explain it and the study guide was no help! Happy New Year in 6 hours...
Very useful video, I finally understand how to calculate correlation coefficient. My professor did not explain it clearly and it seemd very complicated, however after watching this video I think I'm ready for my exam!!!
I absolutely love your videos, thanks and love from London!
This was so much more useful than my book and class. Thank you!
AMAZING!!! Thank you so much! the first video that actually shows step by step how it's done!!! Sub+

Thanks a lot I had found difficulty in understating this in class. Thanks again sir
Thanks so much for your time creating these videos, they are the best out there and have helped a lot!
Thank you! Is this the same correlation coefficient that would be used in the formula for Cronbach's Alpha?
Your videos are so so helpful thank you! I would love more on statistics, hypothesis and regression please.
Finally someone that speaks English! Thank you!

I subbed to your channel just after watching 2 video..this one and the spearman's crr.. LOVE IT
can you use the pearson correlation with 100 respondents but its in the fixed value where the if the value of x and y are added its all equal to a same number ex: 100
Tgabk you so much for this. Taking an exam tomorrow, this has helped greatly. Hoping to update with the good news
Thank you. You’ve saved my statistics exam 🙂
i passed my statistics final thanks to this video! thank you so much!!!
Sir thank you for making this video you saved another student.
Best tutorial on Pearson's Correlation!!! Thanks.
Wow.......thank you so much you have made it easy for me to understand than the long formula I was given in class
Excellent video. Pleasant voice. Had my attention throughout the video
Eugene you are awesome!!! thank you for this clear explanation.
You are my hero! Thank you for taking the time to make these videos
Very simple and good explanation. Hats of you!!
Amazing video professor. Love from India❤
you're a god man ty, i literally have an exam after few hours XD. god bless you man
Hello may i ask? Are we not gonna arrange the x and y to lowest to highest number before getting the xy product?
With this example we would fail to reject H0 if we would do a hypothesis testing for the correlation, right?
very helpful thank you!! i like how you did everything step by step!
this video was very helpful, i learnt how to solve this to teach it to my wife, thank you
Really straight forward no added rubbish. Thanks!
U really came in clutch for Year 9 KHS students

Wow!!!!! Just the best and exactly what I need. God bless you
This video was very clear and extremely helpful!
What significance test could you use for this correlation coefficient? Is there something that would account for n?
Thanks - very straightforward and helpful!
Awesome video. Thank you! Lifesaver for my stats exam.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOUR LECTURE WAS SO HELPFUL TO ME .
This video saved my life. Thank you!
