I was looking for a video that explains how to choose p* value when choosing the sample size, given the desired margin of error (0.01) and a confidence level of 99% ? ... There is not one single tool I use, I use a variety of different tools, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Final Cut Studio and then put all these pieces and parts together in one video. They do take a while to put together, so I always appreciate feedback if I am hitting the mark or not.

Does it mean I need to predict x (interest)/ n (sample size)? Thanks... The x = estimated no. of voter vote for A party (can i refer to past studies and make this estimation number)? OR x = number of spoilt questionnaires I would collect from the 200 total questionnaires circulated?

What do I do if I want to change the margin of error but keep the same confidence interval?

I tried to use my ti84 to calculate the margin of error, and I was given a different answer than when I worked the problem out by hand. I went to 1-PropZInt, input 400,900, and .95, and I was given (.41198,.47691). Am I doing something wrong?

No it is not powerpoint, I use a variety of different software including photoshop, illustrator, HTML5, Final Cut, GarageBand and a few other products. Each video takes me a long time to create. My rule of thumb is each minute of video takes about 12 hours to create, so a 7 minute video takes me about 84 hours of development time.

+Aidan Curry  you could find it on your z score table or chart. find .97500 see Z vertically to 1.9 and horizontally 06 so that is 1.96 and .06; or you can also find it on your T84

To find the z score of 95, subtract 100 - 95, the add that number to 95. Turn that number into a decimal and check the z score chart in the area section, finding the z score on the sides
