its better to be over than under.. he also calculated the temp going to 0c but on a bad day it could go down to -15c.. then what?

@@mickbmx he accounted for everything and then oversized the rads! Surely the calc should have accounted for variables that are impossible to calculate as opposed to going with the next size up the result he had!!!

@@da_great_mogul radiators are made to round numbers. He could have never bought the exact size radiator. Same goes for drain pipes. If you calculate the average rainfall a lot of gutters are oversized. You wouldn’t want to undersize stuff and have things fail.

@@mickbmx that's correct but what you could do is ensure the sum of the total adds up to what you need. This would mean adding some smaller sizes in to ensure the number matches to the output required. In writing off 70w x 6, it obliterates all the great work he did to get to his correct output!

@@da_great_mogul his calculations are still worthwhile for a big space over guess work. He’ll know for sure it will definitely heat the space. Not great for OCD I guess.
