I tried this but get continuity when the clutch is both engaged and disengaged both ways... any idea?

The little copper piece might be misplaced or the copper contacts from wire itself could be bent making contact at all times

Hey floridaboy sorry for the late response, if u cut the wire it will not to the same unless you somehow splice rhem together to close the circuit.

Your paddle tires are on wrong... They are "scooping" the right direction, but the "V's" point should be towards the inside of the ATV, and not the outside.

This is not true …. Limiter should be at the acceleration side not the clutch …. This is not true, I beg to differ

That has nothing to do with the speed limiter. Know what you are doing before you make a video.

try it and see the result then make a comment. if your speed changes it has to have something to do with it.
