And yes I see the buy one get one at a cheaper price. That tells you right off the bat that they aren't authentic. No collector or dealer will have that many hard to find charms.

These tips are all ones that I have learned the hard way. Especially stock photos and the reviews are my two big ones as well as wether it has came from actual Pandora

me too! I learned the hard way with lots of my trollbeads. WHen I first got into trollbeads I went nuts buying all the ones I wanted on ebay from a particular seller until i got one that looked off. I sent it for a return and she kept delaying my refund until i reported her to ebay then all of a sudden i got my refund within 5 minutes lol. I also had to drive to my trollbeads dealer so they could authenticate my trollbeads and thankfully they were all ok. Ever since then I stopped buying all together and when I did buy I was very very careful.

Lots of good tips, when I buy from ebay for older charms I look at wear as well and have had several amazing deals for loved charms Stay safe and take care ❤

Thanks for the video. On another note thanks got posting pics of retired Pandora charms. I have been looking and I realized that I missed out on the charm styles that I fit my style. I am sad about that.

Glad it was helpful! Do you mean posting videos here on older charms? Or on my Instagram account where I do sometimes post older pieces? I ask because I used to post videos of older charms so collectors can see the charms up close and compare the hallmarks to their own so they can verify authenticity.

Great informative video Jahndra! 🤗❤ Hahaha I can't believe sellers are trying to sell muranos and charms that were never Pandora products. I would love old Pandora catalogues. I only have some of them since I started collecting. I agree if the charm is HTF why would the seller have so many of the same item.

Right?! Its crazy!!!

I just bought a fake charm and I left a bad review therefore the seller offered a refund and that I didn't need to return the charm. I got my $ back but my review was removed bc the problem was solved. The seller still has a 100% positive reviews. Now personally I've had some really bad experiences buying Pandora from Mercari, I'm scared to buy Pandora from there now lol. Thank you for making this video!!

Yep! That's how they get around the issue! When I was researching for this video I couldn't believe how many sellers I saw that were selling blatant fakes and had 100% positive feedback. It makes ebay really untrustworthy but you just have to know what to look for! With Mercari I absolutely do no trust it, I've had several bad experiences with them already and because they have a weird return policy I rather not buy from them. Have you bought from Poshmark?

@@MyXpressions hi- nope not from Poshmark but I did buy from Etsy, I bought some authentic charms from jewelry there and also a lady that had really good reviews but sold me a fake Murano, was able to tell because I already had an orginal one and I was able to compare them and she still got mad when I left a bad review lol. I got my $ back tho... its crazy how there's so much fake Pandora!

hi!! Can you clarify your comment please? I'm not sure what you mean, but what happens is that if a buyer isn't happy with a fake charm or bead, in order to prevent a negative feedback the seller will offer a refund and therefore avoid the negative feedback. Really? I've yet to try mercari. I bought from mercari several times for Tiffany then realized that there are a lot of tiffany fakes. There's a ton of tiffany fakes on ebay too which is why I'm extremely careful now when buying tiffany on ebay.

Thanks for your the video Jahndra. EBay is absolutely full of fakes, my rule of thumb is: don’t buy from eBay.

Personally I've found some great treasures there and for premium pricing!! Maybe my tips might help you take the plunge. As long as the seller has a return policy (and yes, having to go through the inconvenience of paying the return postage is annoying) I'll get my money back and that's the end of the situation. Some sellers even offer free returns! Some people think Ebay is risky but life's about taking risks sometimes, you should try it 😘
