521 transactions, 100% on eBay, people can trust me :) Love your content and can't wait until you ship the fish to me :) I also add Prime and Stress Guard, never lost a fish as long as temps were above 50 throughout. I only ship 6 months out of the year and provide tracking always.

Just having my 1st cup of coffee at 1:45pm .... worked till 3am last night.... you mentioning a snack has me debating an english muffin though....lol I have few "local" shops, all are 1-2 hours away. I am also looking for some not so common fish... I may have to resort to mail order, and now that it's getting a bit warmer I think the time for that is soon...

That would be a tough video to make. There are so many diffrent options available to people who ship fish. Bag type and size, carrier, box sizes and which boxes to use, lining with styrofoam or using pre made inserts, labels, insulation type, payment options, and so on and so on. There isnt just a one size fits all when it comes to shipping fish. And it should be tailored to what works best for you. Mike ships fish his way, I ship mine similar but yet diffrent than he does. And both ways work just fine. Others also have there ways that may differ completely from my way but works for them.

How to buy fish online. Go to Michael's Fish Room. Agonize for 3 or 4 days over which strain to get. Email Mike a million times to discuss strains, and ask a million questions. Agonize some more. Finally get daughter's input on which one to get. Agonize a couple more hours. Finally choose and order. Repeat a couple weeks later for the next tank.

Mike the background in Taco's tank is nice But to me it doesn't show Taco off as well as the smaller tank . The background just do that REALLY handsome justice. Just my opinion!

If the PO was not AFU then DOA are very rare - We use to ship all year all weather pre-covid and had very little issue

Hi michael i am considering paying a seller from Indonesia through paypal and they are $10 per guppy including shipping for 30 fish total. (super cheap?) they are nice strains.. and I’m actually concerned about it because i haven’t ordered fish online before much less from overseas He said they will be here in like 3 days from Indonesia to san diego I’m worried i’m going to get scammed although they have provided photos of the fish. They dont have a website or anything. Just a facebook profile with their guppy posts. Have you or anyone reading this ordered from someone in another country on Facebook and paid through paypal? Does paypal purchase protection cover fish from overseas? Please let me know i need to decide if i’m doing this deal or not!

I’m an acclimater - but I get overnight shipping, though I have done that on fish in transit 72 hours. I do the Q-trio in a separate tank. Just going to bed, so yours is the last face I see...

I wish I knew the difference between tran shippers last year. Could've saved plenty of money. Lol I got the guy that re bags fish from Asia and sends them to me. No big deal, had 1 DOA but he didn't know I was missing females out of my order and the wrong type of guppies (cobras vs the dumbo's I wanted). And no tracking info and no invoice other than 20ish guppies. Didn't seem to understand fish keeping either....seems like trans shipping was a side job for him. Long story short, take to your shipping person. Even if others had great experience with them.
