How to buy a used Kia Rio - Buying advice | Common problems | Parts pricing
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
You have come to the right place if you are in the market for a used hatchback, and one with a particularly good reliability record. A used Kia Rio is a great choice for buyers looking for something with modern technology and high levels of specification at a decent price.
In this video, guest presenter Reba S takes us through some of her favourite features on the Kia Rio as well as what common problems you should look out for when shopping for one. Then there are the parts pricing differences. We compare OEM parts prices of the Kia Rio with a 3rd party supplier to see how much of a difference there is...

Thanks for the info 😆😁
Here for Reba S 🔥 ... Maseve 💯
It's nice to see Reba on the channel. ❤
I've had my kia rio 1.4 tec since 2012... all I've had to change so far (12 years ownership) is 1 clutch kit, 1 timing chain, 1 ignition coil, 1 fuel pump. Besides regular servicing parts. Really good reliable car. And the power is more than enough for this car.

How many kilometers? When did you replace replace timing chain ? I am currently on 140 000 kilometers just normal service
@ripaldinonhoana67

Same here 2014 model so far only normal service going 145kkm verrrry reliable
Please keep it going, especially the pricing of parts. We want more on other used cars as well
Reba S keep revving up the excitement and driving us forward to your other appearances!
It’s so nice seeing Reba featured on the channel❤🎉😮😊
Very informative. We definitely need more content pitched at this level. 🙌🏾🙌🏾
nice that this channel is expanding content as new car reviews are stale. Thing is most south african folk buy used cars so great initiative. Reba keStar
The work gal is putting in🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome commentary...we should see more of you
That ownership price comparison is insane. Not only parts but they will milk you dry on labour as well

No need to buy OEM waste of money.
Nice one Reba 👏👏👏
She's already my 2nd favourite presenter on the channel, after Ciro.
Dlala Maseve, giving us a review on one of my favourite compact hatches 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Nice to see you here Reba doing a very well detailed review♥️
A great-looking car. I was looking at buying a new hatch in 2022, but I decided to get a new Baleno GLX for 269k in 2022 instead. The Baleno has amazing tech for the price. I'd have loved the sunroof though.
I see Reba S on the video, I click! Dankie Maseve
Loving this series, the 'What to look out' for section is invaluable.
Love this new series of videos. Keep it up! Would love to see the 2016 Opel Astra next
This is the kind of content we need 👏🏽 Please keep it coming with more used cars

You will never go wrong with the diesel model, it's bullet proof we bought it brand new 2019 it's on 130k KM now, at 120k km they've only changed the cambelt, the rest it's just minor service changing DSG oil all that kinda stuff..
Good video

The noise whilst driving this car 🫤
It’s been 2months owning my Korean baddie and I can confirm. This is a fun car to drive once you can use to it. My only problem is the lack of turbo, when overtaking, to pickup speed and. Power, you need to go gears down more.
" Dumelang bo masebe" Great review
Thanks for this video. Please do the Audi A1

It's definitely a lovely car, mara the fuel consumption plus em' parts Hai suka I give up....Oh by the way I drive a Hyundai i20 due to some financial issues I couldn't afford to get myself the the KIA RIO 1.4 TEC as planned so I'm feeling the burn ka the i20 in terms of fuel and parts 😭😂
And the way she’s cooking 🥵🔥
The OEM costs are insane 😅
"Pre facelift and facelift" are those not two different models?

I miss this car.I traded it in for the Renault Clio Intense.I miss the space but it lacks power. How I wish Kia added turbo, wireless charging and tyre pressure on the car.But it’s a good car anyway just in the road with its power hai it’s boring

Please tell us your "third party dealer" that costs a third of the OEM costs. ='D
The lady was so beautiful I didn't get a word of what she was uttering about the car. 😩
lol issues, there is none. amazing
I love this Kia Rio. Is she married? ❤❤❤
DAnko
oem parts are basically daylight robbery, you pay triple for a cardboard box that says "kia" on it, the part inside is the exact same part made by the thousands, only difference is Kia then buys those parts, puts them into a little cardboard box, and charges triple the price, all because it says KIA on the outside, South africans are really idiots if they actually pay for parts from the dealer, whe there is literally zero difference to the 3rd party parts, but then again were idiots in paying ridiculous amounts on cars that are old news overseas already, I guess our market is small so manufacturers exploit this to make as much coin as they can from saffers.
@BeatsByZetan

I'm shocked by the disparity in price, few hundreds from 3rd parties vs few thousands from oem
