You said to keep corporate minutes logged (take notes) in order to protect yourself from lawsuits. From the IRS? Or from??
Great video! Thanks, Mark for the great content! Enjoyed it a lot! Have a question regarding board of advisors... for example the situation when I have a friend on my board of advisers who lives in another state. Couple times a year I rent a van and travel to visit him with my family, spend a weekend with his family, have couple restaurant dinners etc. and discuss my business lets say couple hours in total. The question that I have, which of this (if any) I can write-off from my taxes?

You rock! Informative. However, what if you a have a 501c3 nonprofit organization can you have a board if directors and a board of Advisors?

Well....you must...I'm sure you do...and it's required that you have a Board of Directors of a 501c3. In fact, I would hope and expect that you would be having more regular and formal meetings with a 501c3 than you even would with your own entity. If you need a consult/review with one of my staff attorneys to make sure you are managing it correctly, please call my office are 435-586-9366 and set something up. Thanks
