Good job. I did something similar I used a battery powered bilge pump that uses d batteries

Made quite a few of these over the years. Best advice I can give you about it is to get a small bottle of Foam Off. And to use stainless hardware. The constant contact of saltwater will rust out cheap metal fittings in a few weeks on constant use

now get some liquid electrical tape and coat the ends of those clamp wires Saltwater, you know.............
