I first saw this as an Airfix kit in 1982 when they were in a partnership with MPC.

Doug, as always, great review. I use your reviews to help determine if the kit is worth spending money on. If I want to see artwork, there are some other channels I look at. Keep up the good work.

When this kit first appeared in 1980 I thought it was inspired by "Mad Max"; a two door Nova coupe with speed equipment. Some real Chevy Novas were used as squad cars but they were four doors and didn't have hood scoops.

Nice work Doug!! One thing I can't stand on the new kits are the no name tires. That is so un realistic.

OIl pan cover is full of fingerprints!!!!!!!! Crude way of painting the break lines and the dashboard, also I can see how the wheels are missing part of the rim that was ripped of from the sprue! Love the models you built but this are details I see on every build!

Helado - You have a sharp eye and the highly magnified close-ups do not hide anything. Sometimes we find that other builders are better than we are but they take a really long time to build a model. That means we would only post about six reviews a year! So we take the best care we can with our old eyes to let you know how the kit goes together and whether there are any issues to watch out for.
