Fun medieval tangent. That back neck truck was also a feature on certain sallets. The Gothic style for helmets was very long and pointy, so eventually you run out of space. The way to get around that was riveting the lames of the neck in such a way that they could move like that. Some even traveled down the back and followed that shape, armor is wild. And with that info dump, good to see you're back at it both of yous guys(saw this when it came out, just now getting to watching)
