there actually is no way to "build discipline", or make it easier, you just have to thug it out. like mike tyson said, discipline is doing something you hate, but you do it like you love it. so if being disciplined means doing the things you hate, that means its impossible to get better at it, because you will always hate it. if you dont hate it and it becomes easy, thats no longer discipline you see? so instead of looking for a shortcut and looking how to make being disciplined easier, just accept that its always gonna be hard, and do it anyways. simple as that.

I think Khabib's words are much deeper than one might think. It's not just a matter of training and hard work, it's also and most importantly a matter of life choices. The point is that you cannot do many things at once and expect to excell at them even if you work hard. You have to sacrifice something. Khabib became great not only because of his incredibly hard work and discipline, but also because his family supported him and provided for him all the way through. He did nothing but train and that's how he became champ. On the other hand, if you have to work to make a living and want to practice martial arts at the same time, you can become really good, but forget about becoming the best.

He has the mentality of a champion, it really showed the way he was acting in the promo for his match against McGregor, no hype,no fake drama and artificial arguments in order to increase their sponsons’ fortune… a calm guy watching his rival acting like a monkey at the order of the ones paying him Nurmagomedov not just fought and won against other great fighters but he showed he was able to defeat an entire system of corporations forcing fighters to be the way they want… a system who s victim McGregor gladly loved to be
