Awesome, Reminds me of Blockbuster times when I rented VHS tapes. Good old days. I like it more than streaming.

Excellent video, dude! Storing them by spines saves space but this style really gives that nostalgic video store feeling!

thx man. ya I still store lots on a bookshelf but about a year ago a realized i was not getting the enjoyment from the collection i wanted the more rental type setup for picking a movie on a weekend. so i started making 5e shelf system as it’s just a hallway. glad my wife is excepting. I also build a diy theatre and man that’s been great i highly recommend it.

Those trains (esp. the passenger cars) remind me of my old S-gauge American Flyer set from the 60s 🙂.

I was all in until the cutting…I have no tools but I am always jealous of seeing other people’s decked out work spaces. Thank you for the video.

This is the exact atmosphere I want to create in my home theater. I even want to paint my back wall blockbuster yellow.

Where did you get your movie poster frames? Are they 27x 41?

Looks Great. But, Sadly with a collection exceeding 4k this setup isn't right for me. Have a like though.

I love my radial arm saws. Not as easy to setup and keep setup as modern options but they are so quiet to run and they bring me joy every time i use them. I got both for about 40 dollars I think.

How did you mount them on the wall

For the ones below eye level you screw them in on a angle into the studs from underneath. Like pocket hole but you just pre drill them on an angle. Then from above the shelf for the ones above eye level

Thx for looking out for me but im happy taking the risk. I wood work like a few hours per month and i have good dust collection at each tool. My grandfather worked in a shop every day before dust collection was a thing and he was just fine for the rest of his life. I will take the risk. But thx for watching
