Don't want to get burned like with Wordpress.... if I buy the 98$ package (recommended one) will I be able to upload my own html,css,js and media file and then just publish through them while still getting a domain and email from them? Or It will try to scam me for another 300$ just to be able to publish my own code?...

Just tell chat gpt to build you a website. You can tell it what kinds of functionality you want. You can change the code every step of the way and it takes about 10-20 minutes. You don’t need three files (or even two). You don’t need to know how to code. It’s free. It’s not hostinger.
