I really wish KZreadrs would stop naming videos something that they aren't. This isn't a how to start from 0. This is two experienced guys having a conversation from a perspective of already having done it.

Its taken me 18 months to build my park. I opened parts of in 5 months but it was rough...its just been me 1 helper and my heavy equipment owner. Lots of rain delays. Health dept by law is supposed to get back to you within 10 days and they would often take 3 weeks to approve or disapprove of a change our engineer made. I never imagined 35 slips would take that long but we had to build 2 massive retaining walls and haul in thousands of yards of dirt. In tbe end its 100% paid for but business has been slow. Weve yet to get to 50% capacity. Rv parks have doubled in my area since i started mine.

Thank you for the video. I would like to have a RV park and live there FT. I was thinking of doing this as my retirement. Love to hear the insight and details on what you experienced. The cost, the amenities, the little things. Much Appreciated.

What are some of the numbers for engineering design? Is it possible to find out more about the real costs for development?

What I’m trying to find out because I just bought some land and I’m trying to find out do I get the electrical installed first, then septic sewer lines then water from the well then I have to put the asphalt on the road. I guess that’s last but first I have to trim a bunch of trees so they don’t fall and destroy stuff. It is a lot to do and figure out.

Trees should be looked at by an arborist. You can trim them or cable them. We had a tree fall on our rv in a park, our insurance paid us so we could purchase another rv. It would be in your best interest to look after the health of trees.

@@taraquo yeah the past two weeks we probably cut down 50 trees, rented excavator three days ago and burning everything in piles were putting in the sewer lines tomorrow, going to use it to dig the trench then a lot of work but saved money just me and a guy from craigslist! Lol probably $15,000 worth of work only cost me about 2800
