@sahiladeem when I was 13 I had a chat with an atheist, that term was very much new to me in Pakistan. He asked me about my religion and I told him that I am a Muslim. He then asked me u r Muslim by force coz ur parents are Muslims, how do u know u r right? I had no answer and unfriend him. The irony is we aren't educated on both ends, nor was our parents neither are we. When I used to ask sumthing I was told to keep quiet. As our elders said it so. Alhumdulilah Allah gave me the blessing to think and I have started my journey towards the right path.

@Adh-Dhikr To counter such arguments we must need to read Quran n Hadith ourselves first, from different scholars, only then we can be able to identify the wrong or fabricated meaning they took from Quran n Hadith n trying to prove their false beliefs right.

Furthermore, u've described it so well... the parameter to check the authenticity of any interpretation given by such claimers must be verified from the stencil of Quran n Hadith and the seerah of Sahabah A.S. This was the clear indication of yahoodis n munafiqs in the time of Nabi صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم also, that they use to quote the Ayahs but twisted the meaning of it, like when they were told to say سَمِعْنَا وَاطعنَا they intentionally and falsely alter the meanings of the Words of Allah and explain them in a different manner than what Allah meant instead they say وَيَقُولُونَ سَمِعْنَا وَعَصَيْنَا And say;"We hear your word and disobey, saying, "We hear what you say, O Muhammad, but we do not obey you in it." And Ra`ina, with a twist of their tongues and as a mockery of the religion. يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ امَنُواْ لَا تَقُولُواْ رَاعِنَا وَقُولُواْ انظُرْنَا (O you who believe! Say not Ra`ina but say Unzurna (make us understand)). (2;104)

So... whatever someone says or whatever he claims as the true interpretation, one must cross verify as if this was the actual meaning of that Ayah or Hadith or its only what he/she understood. Allah hum sabko asaani de. Ameen.

May Allah bless you man. My daughter is one year old now M.A. i was thinking and praying to Allah to give me enough strength and show me the way to make her a better muslim. How to Transform real essence of islam into her.. My parents did good job to me that they opened all books in front of me to read and understand. Being syed, i had the fortune to read sunni books, shia books which are mainstream fiqs and understood the basic concept of Islam. Allah Hu akbar. I was confused how to transfer this knowledge to my daughter and i found you. Allah helped me found you and your lecture. Nobody, i repeat nobody has impressed me this much. I belong to sunni family and i had to leave many things as i found better sources and material in other fiq books and have to stand firm on many things which are strong in sunni books. Alhumdullilah i am muslim, i am syed and my daughter will be muslim like the muslims should be. Our all family does healthy arguments every week and it helps us to improve and grow. I say Ali A.S , i respect Sahabas..i read Imam Jaffer Sadiq, Imam Abu hanifa, Bhukari Sharif, Najal ul Balagah..i dont care if they label me as a sunni or shia. Once again. Thank you Sir Sahil...we cannot achieve excellence but may Allah accept our struggle that alteast we are trying to be better muslims. JazakAllah.
