love this just got with my desk last night treated and stained with polyurethane warm gloss and man it looks so good now to order my wall panels and stuff

I would've just painted it black or gotten a 3d print black one or something.

I personally would’ve painted a piece of thick plywood black, and screwed it into studs, then mounted pc case screws into the plywood (or ideally you could install supporting wood behind the wall and patch up)… just a lot of weight and and money to be hanging on mostly drywall….. could also use some super duty drywall anchors too

@@MadmanLink currently I have a gtx 1060 and a ryzen 5 3600. so I'm looking for a 1080p with 144hz monitor. preferably an IPS panel because I'm a video editor. Planning on upgrading a GPU soon but I have to invest on monitor first.

This is such a good video concept! I don't know if I've ever seen a comprehensive guide and tutorial for getting a clean looking setup when a lot of gear is involved. Could you also do one for more advanced pc builds? Maybe figure out the most complicated rig that can be built and then do an in-depth tutorial on building it and making it look clean. I've built several pcs for myself and friends, but none of them were using particularly complex parts. When I built my new rig back in June I was using an aio, custom cables, a ton of fans, and a whole lot of other stuff that I wasn't as familiar with in a relatively complex case. I eventually got through the build, but it kicked my butt and the included instructions for a lot of the parts were not helpful.

I love that monitor arm. I was wondering how it was with that monitor it seems to be at the weight limit?

3:59 cut a 2x4 a little longer the case drill that 2x4 into studs then drill the 4 holes for the case into that wood and it is a lot more sturdy than drywall

you're making it harder than it needs to be. Find the centre of the wall and fix a piece of board a bit bigger than the case to the wall that secures to the stud/s. Fix pc case frame to the board. done.
