Nice job man!!! I love the CAD designed and/or modeled parts aspect of the build. I came straight over from the MXA video and like what I’m seeing. Gonna more of wucha got. 🤙

This is amazing! Is there any way i could check out your Cad work? Id like to 3d print some of these parts to wrap my head around their design. I plan on doing a similar build soon once i find a good donor candidate.

Hey man just subscribe because of the proper job you did in realize this build! I would like to ask if you made the CAD model of the motor or if you got it somewhere. Because I would like to start my project based on that motor, and the cad file will be fundamental to start. Thank you in advance for the info 😊

Thanks man! I got the model from the manufacturer. Shoot me an email at info@lithium-king.com and I'll send it to you.
looks awesome man, how much did the whole build cost in total? and is it also possible to use any other 72V li-ion battery or does it specifically need the one listed?
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! It was about $5k total including the bike and 1 battery. You could use any battery as long as it was capable of supplying enough amps.
You should mount a 2nd battery under the rear fender, or maybe move the primary one there.
Nice bro! I was wondering if your kit would also fit an 06 RMZ 250f ? Thinking about doing this
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! No, unfortunately its not a direct fit for that bike.
We talked at the race about hinging the battery box. You could also consider putting the bolts in the battery cover and the a captive washer to keep it in place when you remove it..
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
Hey! Good to hear from you. Yeah that's a good idea. I might try something like that. If the bolts were held in somehow that would help.
DOPE! I have a ktm 450 with a broken 450 motor and you did exactly what i wanted to do to convert! does that motor come with a gear reducer on the end?
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes it has built in gear reduction. Great motor for this.
What a machine, if she'll last 30 mins on a track Hammering it she'll last a good Hour cruising the streets at night ⚡💯🤟🇺🇲

Thanks! Yeah it's good for almost an hour of easy trail riding.
Very nice build. How long does battery last on track?
@electronracer

Thanks! Its good for about 30 min of hard riding.
Understanding now that the Stark I have on order is 260 lbs, I'm considering a DIY project. Thinking a 2017-2019 KTM 125 or 150 roller with the PDS rear suspension, the PDS allows for lots of room available & is simple. Those are pretty light chassis, likely similar as your RM in weight. If I have a target of 220 - 225 lbs gross weight & knowing what you do about chassis, battery & accessory weights - what size battery do you estimate I could use to maximize run time & stay under 225 lbs ? Thanks ... great build you have there !
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
Thanks! You should be able to fit 45ah at least and still keep it under 225. That should give you 45-60min of run time. I thought it was more like 240lbs? 260 would be pretty heavy.
@sidluxurious7816
Жыл бұрын
@@electronracer Yeah, new Stark specs state 260, although they have updated the battery to more efficient cells & 6.5kw. 45 min to an hour just isn't enough for our 25mi loop of almost-hard enduro & there's no opportunity for a battery swap. I'm likely gonna take delivery of the 6.5kw hr Stark & see if I can live with it in the tight stuff & step descents. Apparently there's no free lunch when it comes to run time VS gross weight.
Good times.
Great job man! How much km you ride on cross with this battery?
@electronracer
7 ай бұрын
Thanks! Depending on how hard I am riding I can ride about 20-30km on each battery.
Hey man! Why did you decide to use that controller/motor instead of the more powerful one? And how does the power compare to a regular 125 or 250f?
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
It was a good fit for this. The motor is nice and light and can deliver a lot of power. My bike isn't as fast as a 250f but it could be close with a bigger controller and battery.
💯👍👌
Just curious but what’s the limiting factor at this point (besides $) for people doing their own builds and being able to get crazy 450 or better type power out of them? Is it available/scalable battery power, available speed controllers to handle high power motors or finding small yet powerful enough motors???
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
You could crank up the power. The battery usually becomes the limiting factor. I'm using a smaller/lighter battery. Some people have built them with much larger batteries and more power but they get heavy.
@vincentpernicano3277
Жыл бұрын
Main obstacles are skill and money. Getting the right battery is a challenge for most to do 450 power.
Great job, congrats!...The setup of 16 Kw, it is optional setting in the controller? Means, no re programming or etc? What the max Kw in this Votol EM200...since I am reading in their website 5Kw? thanks
@electronracer
11 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes you can adjust the power in the controller settings. The EM200 can do like 22kw or so max. Larger controllers like the EM260 can easily do 30kw+.

What’s everything you need to make it all eletric I am trying to make my yz 65 all electric, I know you need motor battery and controller but what other wiring will I need? Sick bike btw

A throttle and some large wires for connecting the battery to the controller. That's about it other than the mounting hardware.

I'm doing a similar build with a 2012 rmz frame same motor em260 controller. I was going to mount the controller the same way. I noticed the spacers you made. I need to make something similar for mounting. Is the mudguard custom too?
@electronracer
Жыл бұрын
Nice! The EM260 will work great. Yes the mudguard and controller brackets are 3D printed from TPU rubber.

Hi, what kind of throttle are you using?Can the Domino one works with the Votol ?
