    For beginners: 1. Start with a tea (she has a video on how to make it, mainly adding your favourite herbs to hot water and letting it sit overnight, strain out water in the morning, add essential oils and use) or a gloss (a mixture of a moisturising deep conditioner and your favourite Ayurvedic powder - henna, amla... w/ aloe Vera Juice - start your gloss little by little to see which Ayurvedic powder helps.) 2. Infuse Ayurvedic herbs - mixing oil with some herbs and using on scalp and sealing hair (she has videos on them) 3. The main, the mask (just mixing your powders with water to make a muddy paste) - super strong so do not start with this. But if you use the gloss or tea every week, use mask on the sixth week and do not use gloss or tea the week after. Let your hair rest a week before going back to your gloss or tea because the mask is super strong. Last tip: Incorporate Aloe Vera Juice or powder into your Ayurveda to make it more manageable. Please correct me if I am wrong. By GOD’S Grace, this is how I understood it. :) Hope it helps. GOD bless you.

    hey curley, i sent you a msg a while ago. I went natural 9 years ago and i got my hair to knee length. 3 weeks ago i decided to shave my head for my friend. She was having brain surgery. i wanted to support her all the way. hair is just so important to some people and she struggled with the thought of her beauty being left on the floor. even in the mist of her losing her life.i thought to myself i am not just hair so i shaved it. it was awesome and freeing. i felt as though i proved to the world and myself black women can have long hair. me and my family used most of the same products as you like henna and clays. i found out a long time ago you have to feed you hair just as you feed yourself. your doing great work for people that are struggling to see their beauty. im still natural and plan to keep feeding my hair. love what you doing. just wanted to share my experience. wishing all of you peace and love.

    I know there's a lot of info, but I thought this would include head massage etc. For me what would be helpful would be a step by step - you could also link your other vids so you don't have to go in detail. E.g. Step 2 - Ayurvedic growth oil - see my video here... Step 3 - daily head massage, Step 4 - weekly/every 6 month Ayurvedic hair mask Thanks for all your advice, help and suggestions 😁😁

    I just achieved my first gloss! I’m blown away at how moisturized my hair is after the first gloss treatment. I missed it with Carols daughter rousool clay. I then added the aloe Vera powder, and brown henna (verified it’s just henna), and Olive oil. AMAZING. I also performed a ACV rinse the day before - and my hair is so moisturized. I’m totally going to check out your beast mode growth products! Thank you so much for your shared knowledge. You are such a beautiful woman! Thank you sweetie!!!!!

    Everyone seems to be confused, as to what to use when and at what time. I think you should do an actual live tutorial on the different steps. For instance do you start with a banging henna or herb of choice gloss week one and follow w/moisturizing deep conditioner. Are you to wait weeks/days before adding in the oil infusions/liquid spritz. Thx

    Super excited you made this video!!🦄. However, I do agree with some of the other people who commented on the video being confusing. I know it is a lot of info, to talk about. I would ❤️ for you to show a updated video. On how you use the products on your hair step bye step !! I know I have asked you many times for this video. However I am a visual person. Also may you pls list of the products in your videos. I need to wash my hair today🦁🕸. I only have the henna. I had to order the amila and shakiki. 😂 the stores run 🏃 out of those profits fast 💨. however you spell it. I have all of the oils. Not the tea as of yet. I am about to watch your videos about the ingredients in your tea so I can buy them. I am just super excited to watch your videos we have the same hair texture. However my hair will not grow past the bottom of my bra straps. How often do you trim your hair?

I cant wait to go out and buy a bunch of the ingredients and rebuild my hair regimen. Just 1 question, can i do a mask with amla, hibiscus and shikakai instead of with henna and get the same benefits; or would you suggest using your egg mask as an alternative to henna? I don't want to use henna because i don't want it to lighten my hair.

    Deborah Adebayo Or maybe a mock 6 week schedule with recipes, etc. For example, the first Sunday do a mask. The mask includes _____, you keep it on for this amount of time, and then follow it up with a deep conditioner etc. Then day three of that week you do this and so on and so on so we get a mapped out idea of how to create a concrete system. For me, at least, it would be easier then to know what substitutions I can add or leave out if something doesn't work for me personally. I am doing my first mask tomorrow and hoping it goes well. I've lost a lot of volume of my hair and am trying to get it back. 🙏🏽

    Your powders have CHANGED my hair game completely. I use the teas, gloss and mask and I am blown away! I wasn't able to see my curl pattern until now. My shine is insane and this hair is growing baby. So easy to detangle and my hair behaves so well now❤ I have taken very good care of my strands since going natural in 2016, BUT BAAAAABY, this is truly on a hair beast level. I am soooo glad I found your channel. I'm not on social media to see your other platforms, but I am beyond pleased with my current results! You are the Hair Whisperer🥰

Being that I am sensitive to certain herbs can I leave out the henna of so what's a good substition? Also, I notice that castor oil causes me to break out on my scalp what is a good alternative Thank you so much from NY, NY U.S.❤❤❤❤

    It would be helpful if you posted a calendar of how you do your routine. It's still confusing what you are doing. So it would be helpful to see. I use these products in this order such as: 1 shampoo, 2 tea gloss- biweekly, Henna - biweekly, daily: oil massage with xyz in it. You see? That way I don't think you would get repeated questions.

My hair does take well to protein treatments at the salon like once a year. My hair is down my back but I want it thicker and waist length. Any aryuvedic treatment you suggest that's comparable to a protein treatment but not as strong as henna? Just what's your phone number dammit. I have questions lol.

    Casandra Smith but what is it? I was asking the same question? What is the difference between the gloss and mask? Is it like conditioning and deep conditioning??

  • @CazSantiago

    @CazSantiago

    7 жыл бұрын

    Jy Jy Merlót Oh, I see what you're asking. Usually in Ayurveda, no commercial products/conditioners are used. The mask is considered full strength and depending on the ingredients you can formulate it to be cleansing, conditioning, or both. Oils are added to the mask or applied before as a pree-poo to provide softness and conditioning. Curly Proverbz recommends using the gloss to help cut the strength of the mask, especially for new users who may find the mask too strong.The gloss can also be formulated to be more cleansing or conditioning, depending on the powders added. When you purchase them, each product describes it's properties and what it does to your hair and you combine them according to your needs. I've only used the masks and add both cleansing and conditioning powders (I premix and store it in a glass jar). To the powders I add 1tbsp oil (grapeseed, olive, or neem) for my short hair and mix with boiling water from the kettle to avoid lumps. Once my mix is well combined, I add rosemary, tea tree, and/or lavender, peppermint, lemongrass (this one mostly for scent) essential oils. After washing, I apply my homemade whipped shea butter/oil combo and I'm done. I'm not one for adding/layering products in my hair so even though my hair has some curls to it, it's not overly defined. Hope this helps!

    Casandra Smith Thank You soo much!! Would it be safe After I use rhoussal clay and Shikakai to wash my hair(shampoo). Can I use henna/ Alma/brahmi & conditioner gloss after ? Or is it too strong and I should alternate when I use henna mix and rinse with Rhoussal??

  • @CazSantiago

    @CazSantiago

    7 жыл бұрын

    I would treat the rhassoul clay and shikakai as my shampoo but would not use these on their own for fear of leaving my hair too brittle. Perhaps add a oil to this mix? You can use the clay, shikakai, henna, amla, bhrami and follow up with a conditioner/deep conditioner if you'd like.

I can't follow your instructions if your all over the place. Can you write it out first and then make the video. I need a step one two and three format. The current style of delivering knowledge in a streamlined fashion is why they have not yet reached a million subs. Most people like to be told exactly what to do and not be given just an example. Literally there needs to be a header that says, Deep Conditioning Weekly, suggestions then write out what that is. Clarifying per Month then indicate what you can do. Another Strengthening Teas to be put in before moisturizer 2 to 3 times per week. Etc. When to use a Henna Gloss versus straight Henna. Listen, she gives you all the information, but you have to watch all and listen repeatedly because it is not streamlined. I have wondered frequently why there are not a million subs and reading what you have said gave me the Ahhh Moment. Literally re North Americans, she has to dumb it down.

    Thank you for this! Since deciding to usr non pharmaceutical methods of managing my epilepsy, I've been incorporating more ayurvediic methods into my life and my natural hair is my next step. Your channel will definitely help me! I've noticed that with the closet full of expensive boutique natural hair care products, the best things for mybhair growth have been clay washes, aloe Vera juice spray bottles, and self made whipped shea with aalllll the oils. I have hundreds of dollars worth of hair care products on my shelf and my hair prefers a big $6 bottle of aloe Vera and clay that lasts me a life time for $10. I just purchased coconut and amla oil from the Indian grocer for $5 and a detangling leave in from an Indian company with lots of ayurvediic powders. Working in scalp massages and more water into my routine. Here is to my journey! Hopefully in a few years my hair will be back to my bra strap at least! Thanks again for the help!
