Great 👍
After cutting lid I hit the edges with a propane torch .
id probably turn your tech screws up other way on the flange on the SLO, even better use bolts, with fish and water moving it be possible for them tech screws to put hole in base

We use shower drains for the bottom of the up lift pipe . We set it at the bottom about 1/2 inch off the bottom of the tank
Bro I don’t know how I’m just now finding your videos....... so far I’ve seen your maggot feeder and this and you do things EXACTLY how I want to. Awesome video, phenomenal explanations, and well thought out, intelligent designs!

I subscribed to your channel not only because I was interested in agriculture, but also because I wanted to learn English. I think your pronunciation is very clear for me who is not good at English. Thank You. From Indonesia.
Nice video on your ibc Aquabonic system
That's awesome Matty! Great idea separating the build into separate videos! Easy to follow and well explained! 👍👍👍 Thanks!

My wife and I both subscribed. I’m currently building an aquaponics system, and she is raising quail. We live in the states and are interested in self sustainable living due in part to total lack of confidence in the government

Hey Matty, I'm just getting started and building my tank based off of yours! Where do you get your PVC pipe fittings specifically the 40mm threaded adapter, 40mm tank outlet and flange? I've been looking through Bunnings and Reece and they don't seem to have the correct sizes. Also are you using pressure PVC or DWV (because I found that those sizes don't fit together)? Thanks for your help!
👍
Hi Matty, Great video but I didn't hear you say what size pipe you were using, any chance you can let me know please?

Hi ScaldaYT, Thank you! I did mention it on several occasions. The Bulkhead / Tank Outlet, T-Section, 45 Degree Elbows, PVC Adapters, and the PVC Pipe are all 40mm.

how many fish the tank holds?

You could put up to 100 fish in each IBC Tank provided you have the bio filtration in your grow beds or filters to manage those high numbers. My system only allows for 30 fish in the fish tank.
