Been waiting for this for 18 years finally thank you so much
Sent my worship pastor this yesterday and we worked on it, and he used it during practice. sounded great!
Been wanting to update our keys sounds for awhile. Got two of these rigs implimented already and my keys players are loving it! Thanks for sharing this with us! As a side note, we landed on the M-Audio Hammer 88 Pro as a controller and have been loving it so far. It has all the buttons and knobs you could want that you can then map onto Sunday Keys without the need for an extra controller. Our players found it hard to just use an iPad even though we purchased the bigger ipad pros.
You've sold me. Going to buy an iPad and the app tomorrow. I don't even play keys... I'm a guitarist.
you guys are amazing with this app.. everything I wanted years ago you have thought of!! bless y'all!
I was just looking for this. I am very satisfied with this presentation. Thanks for sharing this helpful video.
Absolutely fantastic video. Sunday Sounds App = GAME CHANGER!!!!
So Pumped to use this!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!
Thank you, it's a solution I was looking for. God bless
This video is just in time! Didn't see the link in the description for the products though. If you could post that, that would be great! 🔥

Yeah they haven’t posted the hardware below always found it usually in the church front toolkit
I’ve watched hours of videos and tNice tutorials one is the first that explains it in a way a complete beginner could understand! Great video
This is great 💪🏼app, we'll be glad to have it on android and windows as well just so those who use these platforms can have access to it. Thank you 🙏🏽
Awesome app. Its everything I've dreamed of having. If arranger functions are also added like rhythm & accompaniment, then it would even more awesome !!
wow, thats exactly what i was looking for live performances. Simple way to organize my sounds, and simple configurations. I tried reason and it is really cool but to much configuration to organize my setlists. Thanks for this video.
As always, your information was to the point and very helpful. Thank you
Even if you haven’t implemented this exact setup, the second half of the video has great tips for song section planning. Also I didn’t know the radial usb di was a thing, and can really clean up your output chain 🙌

Hey David and Jake . Tremendous video. Hope to see you both at worship innovators conference next month ! Been customizing Mainstage nanokontrol version for a year now and enjoyed being a beta tester for the app. My worship pastor bought it for our Nord and will be planning to set up songs and help train our other beginner/intermediate keyboardists who are only used to playing a piano. Very thorough video. You guys covered it all here. I’m interested if you might ever make a 5th or 6th layer available. Also tonic seems softer than some of the pads , was going to suggest to raise it up about +3db gain overall to match the patches. See you soon ! God bless ! Way to go in creating this. It is Awesome !
Cannot wait to make the switch to the app. Slowly but surely we’ll get our gear swapped. 😅
Thank you! Great video.
Well I have been doing/managing/learning a lot of our tech upgrade and my wife is the pianist so a two-fer.
I can’t wait to use
So many great features and so much to explore. Great job on the video. I love the access to effects etc. But I started using MainStage and went back to a hardware keyboard for these reasons: 1 we use Multitracks so most of the song-specific sounds are already in there. Yes it makes sense to layer up piano/pad/strings because you can plan them together. You can’t really play the piano part plus a cool organ or guitar part because, put simply, your fingers would be playing different notes at the same time. So all the layering in the world doesn't work then. Let the track or other players cover the other parts. There is a reason that almost all the examples in the video are piano plus pads or strings. Thats what we do most of the time. 2 Any road-warrior will tell you that if you are using a computer or ipad based system you must have a hardware backup for those times when the system hangs up. It will happen. Dont say you weren't lovingly advised, and it is very awkward when it happens haha. Oops no piano. The video references “points of failure”. The fewer pieces in your chain, the fewer points of failure. There is nothing wrong with keeping it simple. It doesnt mean that you are simple, just your rig. And your emotional life. 3 Hardware faders on stage beat a touchscreen every time because you can rest your finger on a fader and feed it in with precision. So you might as well start with one. 4 You can program a hardware keyboard really easily if you read the manual. You aren't stuck with the factory sounds. By the way those sounds were programmed by the best and most experienced in the business. . And usually there will be hundreds of addresses where users can store and recall their creations. Yamaha,Roland, Korg, Privia etc all make great sounding keyboards that have lots of layers (any more than 4 layers is usually mud anyway). It doesn't have to be the $4000 red one, which by the way doesn't do layers nearly as elegantly as you might hope. 5 The presenter mentioned a 5 second recall. In a church service, 5 seconds is an embarrassing eternity. Five seconds is as a thousand years to your pastor. All I’m saying is this- Mainstage sounds great and if it works for you, use it. But dont feel like a failure if you prefer your hardware keys. They work great too. Remember the old saying- tone is in the fingers.

Hey Russell, glad you enjoyed the video. There's definitely lots to consider with one's approach to the keys rig and user preference is paramount. At the end of the day use the tools that feel most inspiring to you/empowering to your worship team :) We did want to clarify a misunderstanding, point 5 from your comment: Patches are immediately playable when recalled. The five seconds that was mentioned in the video is in reference to how long the previously selected Patch will continue to sustain, if you want it to, so that those transitions are alway seamless :)
Thanks bro that was really helpful

I love your videos on this channel. I'm a keyboardist at a small (less than 25 members in attendance weekly), and while I have a couple of older keyboards at home the church has a piano and we're starting a praise band with a bass player, a saxophone player and one vocalist plus me. I have a PC at home, and I don't think the church can afford Mac equipment right now. What would you suggest for a Windows PC user? Thanks in advance.
Campus license is dope.
Why nobody can answer me this question? Can you have at the same time open the Sunday Sounds app and the Word app? To read the songs and playing at the same time.
Awesome video thanks for sharing. Can you share what you are using to mount the IPad and the midi controller to the keyboard. Thanks again God bless you all and your ministries.
Good sales pitch.
Interesting App.. Thanks for the demo. Any plans on the roadmap to make it dante enabled so we can output each channel to the dante network? the reason i ask is that having the keyboard player mix/balance layers in their IEM's may not translate into the room/FOH or broadcast mix....we (FOH/Broadcast) need to have the flexibility to make adjustments (EQ, level, pan......etc) if needed.
This is great. One question I have tho is how much space do the saved patches occupy on the iPad?
Great vid once again . 👏 with th iPad what would you recommend in terms of specs is the lowest we can go...eg memory, ram ...not sure if it was mentioned...thanks
It would be awesome if we could Mute or Solo every channel strip... Also it would be safer if the piano at the bottom could be locked/unlocked so you don't accidentally touch any note when changing between apps in the iPad, or for any mistake. Great app!

Hey Jake, love your channel and watch you guys all the time. We're in the planning stages now for a major renovation of our church, moving from an extremely traditional presentation to contemporary praise and worship, and we're definietly going to utilize the SK app in our keys rig. We're planning to use a Dante network as we build this out, so I'm wondering how the SK iPad would interface with Dante. Any advice? Thanks for all the amazing resources and education. You've having a huge impact for the kingdom.

Hey Douglas, we can chime in here- Audinate hasn’t added Dante support for iOS in a general sense yet. You can use the Avio adaptor from them to get a single stereo pair out that will interface w/ your Dante network if you’d like, but no more than that is possible on iOS in general. Hopefully Audinate will bring Dante to iOS in the future! If and when they do, we’ll provide info on how it can be used w/ the SK App.
If I already have a midi Control keyboard, why do I need the Nano? I use Arturia MK I Keylab 88 and MK II Keylab 61. Blessings! 😊
May I ask what those vertical lights are called in the background?
Thanks for sharing can the sounds in the app be used with a guitar rig?

What do you think about using a Nektar Impact LX88?
Can you add transpose feature in a jog wheel?

My name is Diane and I am totally blind. I love the sounds in this App. However, Is this App voiceover compatible? Voiceover is what blind people use to read the screen. This is NOT SIRI. I know I probably can't use it on stage because of the voice but it would still be great to use at home. Thanks so much for reading this. 😂
Is it compulsory to have an audio interface/device between the iPad and mixer? As my IPad’s Audio is from a 3.5mm small jack that can plug directly into the mixer.
can you use onsong while using sundaykeys?
Great video! Is there a plan to develop an app for Android as well?
Is it a 2023 update video like this one coming ???
What are you guys using as an iPad mount in this video?
Would the m-audio air hub work with this to be both a hub and interface in one
Radial stuff is great but Audiobox $100usd + Direct Box $30usd works fine for my needs.
Can I use the SK Mainstage IPad App with Dreamfoot App, and using the Irigblueboard bluetooth connectivity for midi control? I am hoping someone would tell me its possible and tell me how (PLEASE!)
David (or anyone that knows), does the app send led data to nanokontrol2? I went into Korg editor, set the buttons to toggle and set common led mode to external. The buttons are toggling as expected but no status LED. Thanks! Edit: *Jake. Lol I forgot this was a Churchfront video not a Sunday Sounds video
Is there anyway to buy individual sounds without the yearly subscription?
what synth app can we use if we only have Android devices?
version fine? Also are the extra plug-ins worth the extra $100?
what type of tape are you using for your cables?

How much memory is needed on the ipad to load Sunday keys?

Are there only sounds for worship or are there also sounds for praise and fast and happy songs?
Is there a way to do the same for the guitar!?
When will you be offering the product to Microsoft Windows users?
Are there mute buttons in addition to the sliders? If you wanted to go from 5 patches to solo piano it would be a breeze instead of moving 4 sliders. If not can you use the nanokontroller to allow muting? Also are there scenes you can save for every song with multiple layers?

Snap shots will be perfect for that! For example on snap shot 1 u want 5 sounds, snap shot 2 - just piano. It's just a press of a botton!
Can you use my Macbook pro instead of an ipad?
This would be great if I could assign each sound to a different controller. I play 2 keyboards with many parts I play bass horns and other parts.😢

you can split your keyboard to play different sounds and transpose them up or down an octave or two. The snap shot also works well with that, (snap shot 1 playing sound 1, snap shot 2 playing sound 2, and so on)

Hi Guys, really nice tool and one that might save us the cost of buying a new keyboard. We have a Roland x8 Fantom workstation and it has an issue with suddenly going out of key. We've tried to fix it but no luck. My question is if we use this rig with the Sunday Keys, can we bypass this issue since the sounds dont come from the keyboard anymore? If this works we can decide not to spend £2k plus on new hardware and just get the Sunday Keys and an ipad
@SundaySounds
Жыл бұрын
Hi there, without knowing the exact specifics of why your Fantom is losing pitch, can't say for sure, but as long as the keyboard is still sending reliable Midi Note data then it should be good to go with the App. You'll need a Midi to USB adaptor cable or a Midi cable plugged into an interface.
