Make sure to get the fence that have an air flow like the one this video so the wind/air will go through. My old gate was not like that, the windy season blew my swing gate away.

Did you finish the gate? How would you stop the gat from being lifted off the trak from a high wind storm and from someone trying to just simply lifting it off the track to entrude?

Yes, Make sure you don't pick the fence with no gap so the wind could slip through, I had very heavy wind and the gate was not even moving at all, its very heavy, if someone want to break in they have to jump over the fence first to lift the gate off the track. Its def. stronger than the swing gate.

@@rdhalim slide a piece of 2x4 or pipe of whatever that’s 8 ft long under the gate with a block or rock of some sort and down near gate to be a lever. Step on or use body weight at the end and your gate is lifted off and down. Take a floor Jack and slide it under and a few pumps gate is lifted and falls down but either of these will make a pretty good bang if you were home. The hardware is also facing out so couple turns with a ratchet gate is lifted off. Simple pry bar one can quietly pull wood fence boards off to get inside. Or simply bump it with a trucks bumper. A lock or fence only keeps a honest person honest.

I'm not trying to be funny or degrade your work, because it looks very well put together and you explain everything pretty well and it looks great looks great, but you can't ride a lawn mower through or a vehicle right?? It's just to walk through with the rails over you and under you? Edit I guess I kind of see now but what's going on with it?. But how do you stop it from being pushed in? It only has the wheel holding it there and no rails when it's closed, right?

For sure, half 2” galvanized pipe would work perfectly.

It’s 14’ long each, you can get it from Home Depot.

No, just 14’ for the top and bottom, it gave me about 13’ opening.

@@rdhalim oh OK. For some reason I was thinking the opening was over 20ft. I love the design concept. I think I'm gonna use it for my gate project. But it's a 25' opening so I'll need longer rails, which is a problem since Home Depot doesn't sell any over 10ft.
