I have fixed to the wall 4 x 65 inch smart TVs to create a video wall in my music rehearsal room. I want to create music videos for fun ( on vegas pro or similar) and play them on the video wall as 1 large image approx 3 m by 2 m. In addition I will play live guitar and a singer will sing live to a the backing track and bespoke video images on the 4 x displays....just for fun...think scaled down stadium rock gig. How do I create 1 large image to 4 x displays with out breaking the bank ? Your cloud 9 switch is unfortunately out of my hobbyest budget...

Yes, you could do that. With the right software, any audiovisual environment could be created. Rooms like this have been build using projectors, but you could use video walls too!

I've been waiting for this to become a more widespread idea. TV screens on every inch of wall and ceiling of a room. 360° videos and wallpapers.

Could you do this with cell phones?

What software could I buy that would work with 4 tvs that are different sizes and not in a standard 2 x2 rectangle configuration? Trying to make an artsy video wall

Sounds like a cool set-up! You would need a video wall processor, they come with software. The Fresco series from AVPro can do that, AC-FRESCO-CAP-4, would be perfect. But if you want to really make the system shine with HDR or Dolby Vision video use the AC-FRESCO-CAP-9. They both come with a free software that allows you to configure the panel in completely customizable ways, using different types and sizes of TVS.

Each manufacture has a display made for a video wall, so you can call the one you like and they can walk you through the line. There is no common size, just how big you want your video wall to be.

You can buy LG OLEDS CX; 55” for £1,200 and 65” for £1,700. Does LG make OLED panels specific for video walls and how much more are they likely to cost for these sizes? What I mean is are they more expensive than retail? I would guess that they are. Idle speculation really as would never get it past the missus.

What Size? and how many displays is going to be in your wall? Commercial Displays or bought from a retial store displays.

What’s the difference between a retail display and a commercial display? I have a room 4.8m by 3.85m (tv on this wall) and am curious as to how much a video wall might cost. I would put 4 OLED panels together. 4 55” LG CX OLEDs would cost roughly £5,000 and 4 65” £7,000 retail: providing a 110” or 130” diagonal tv wall. Just a shame the screen doesn’t go all the way to the edge. Forgetting the TVs for a second, how much would it cost to be able to view the 4 panels as one screen whilst still being able to use them individually: 4 player full screen gaming? 4 soccer matches simultaneously? The set up and controllers. To be able to switch via an iPad say. Could I use four 4K screens as an 8K screen for 8k content? Future KZread vids and PS5 games perhaps!?

​@@user-jt1jv8vl9r that would be sweet set up, you need to put two pieces together, a muliviewer and a video wall processor. Many of our customers have installations like that, but to do it properly you need to have a professional av integrator come out and do the install. If you do want to give it a shot yourself, give our tech support a call and we can consult you on what the best steps would be.
