Parmvir Grewal - That's just what my comment was going to be. Maybe once it's done, he can do a really cool mural for it.
Jarvie, this is one of the most incredible builds I have ever seen in my life, and you are an inspiration - but I HIGHLY recommend you incorporate a basic tubular steel rollbar / support structure. This is going to be a very light, and very impressive car performance wise, but your safety is very important - and a fiberglass monocoque likely will not fare well in a rollover situation. It will also massively increase the torsional rigidity of the car - mainly if you are able to tie the cage into the subframe mounting points. Even as just a roll cage that is bolted to the monocoque it will make the car much stiffer. I understand if this is an unwelcome suggestion for such a change - as this is YOUR vision, but I ask you to please consider it. - Dean.

@@Lennox1012 No - you might be thinking of something else he said. The Arete project utilizes a fiberglass / Kevlar reinforced monocoque and a occupant safety structure / semi stressed roll bar. (He posted about the occupant safety structure earlier this day) Happy to see it.

Rollcages/ bars being "safe" in a street car setup is a huge myth- look up roll bars(or cages) sled tests, and you will see why.

do some dimple on the structure support plate and put some curves on the plate for more rigidity. to release mold use air pressure between it so its easily pop out. GREAT WORK RESPECT

@@BuilderCreator other than your videos how do you suggest someone gets started in the learning process? Any good books or resources as I'm sure there will be lots of little things that come with experience. My wife said I can try 😁
@BuilderCreator

@@dylan4972 Book wise, I would suggest you read about materials. Once you know what is available you can chose the appropriate medium. There is a magazine (online now) called "Machine Design" that is an excellent resource. They on occasion print materials in book form that are always full of knowledge. Think up a small project and dive in- Maybe something for your wife . . .drag her in all the way. Ha! something like a kayak can be done fairly inexpensive and in little space, or other things that are of interest to you. Then move on to bigger and better!
The pauses while trimming the foam in the sills just tell me of all the time you laid awake at night thinking about the jambs, clearances, weather stripping and sills. You are basically referring to the image in your mind of that one area. Now compound that to the entire car! Magnificent.

It just amazes me the ingenuity of some of these builders. Thinking of methods to construct, shape, or strengthen that they just come up with that I've never even heard of before that are genius, lol. Very impressive. Or creating your OWN wiring board and all the wiring components for the car...??? I couldn't even imagine the time that went into that aspect alone.

This is very inspiring. Im glad you are doing this it gives me an idea of what I will be doing for my super car. I'm trying to secure a work space at my uncles house in Puerto Rico so I can do this over a 6 month period or faster. I'm constructing a list of things I may need as well as researching the nearby hardware stores near his house. I wanna build it using a 3D Printer. As for the chassis I'm still on the fence of where to go. I have the chassis plans for a Lamborghini Diablo BUT!!!! I have seen many different chassis plans for mid engined cars online.
