Twisting the wire, pre tinning both your parts, holding the wire on the contact and then just heating it up works way better...

Few questions: 1. What are the specs of that subwoofer? (Wattage, how many Hz does it produce, etc.) 2. How much is EVERYTHING you had there, all combined? 3. Would this work if I used a different subwoofer, just in case? I would like to get a subwoofer with an RCA output, with a regular audio jack input... but I see this subwoofer doesn't have that. 4. Can you include links to everything in the video?

+Zantubr Huuts'tsu (Ares) This is a passive subwoofer, you need an external amp. What you're looking for is an active subwoofer.

Don't buy a "stock" box as speakers have hugely varied outputs and characteristics. it's very easy to do a basic model of a box or use the makers plans on the spec sheet and build one

But in a country where there are no hobby shops to pick up the necessary components of the shelf, can you then please tell me how to build your own crossover network, what you can use as a substitute? Firstl Last Currently building 4way system based on Nao Note II RS. Speakers, amplifiers, active crossovers all mine. I never buy amps. I build them. This system will be fun. One speaker requires 4 chanels of amplification. So 8 in total. I dont like it loud, so all I do is oriented to quality. For my PC I have pair of 8" subs and 4" fullranges on desk. Amplifiers, active filters, boxes - all built by me. My subs go to 30hz flat. And 25hz is perfectly useable. Not bad for sealed 8" subs I think. My main system like I said will be Nao note II RS clone tops. Bass will be handled by sealed 10" subs, going to 20hz flat. Nobody even uses passive crossovers for subs. This guy was extremely missleaded by someone. And he is runing car audio box in home, which is peaky like hell. It looks way to small to achieve flat response.

can i say something but the way you put all part's to gever is so lame solder a bear wire you ment to tint the wire mate as it don't last long at all and the solder is made of led
