Dude thank you so much for the tips. I could figure out how to separate the activators and thrusters. And the no placement glitch was killing me. Kept having to restart builds lol. Awesome vid!

awesome man! I took your idea and built on it by making it multi directional, but this design is perfect even still a month later! Awesome stuff man!

I can understand the frustration there... If I had to do this exclusively in survival, I would probably ditch some of the main thrusters to reduce weight and item cost, and then I would try to optimize the balloon placement so I could use the minimum three large ballon version of the build (maybe placing them in a triangle around the middle pad would do the trick?). I would also probably exchange the large thrusters on the directional pads with smaller thrusters to again reduce weight and item cost.

@@tmullzer The cost isn't the main problem on my end. It's the Wood Foundation 06 not being available for survival. Using multiple Wood Foundation 02s does not work. I am yet to see a content creator do this in survival...

⁠@@koutaro208Ah okay interesting. My understanding was that the Wood Foundation 06 really wasn’t specifically necessary. I just thought you needed something to prop up the dynamic foundation, so you could break it onto the main base later. I will look into this issue and try to find a solution for survival!

@@koutaro208I just tried using the Wood F 02, and it seemed to work on that go (though I know this game is pretty glitchy, so there could be other reasons why this one instance worked for me and not for you) In case this is a universal fix, what I did was place 3 of the Wood F 02 blocks on top of each other, placed the dynamic pad, added what I needed, and the broke specifically the bottom most Wood F 02 block so that this entire makeshift pillar broke… from there it seemed like this dynamic pad was successfully disconnected functionally from the rest of the build. I hope this helps/works for you in game!

I think the four balloon option would be pretty easy to land by adding some weight but I would need to test that further

I have tried it and I am here to give suggestions. First, you only have 3 directions, if you wanted to go back to the base it would be almost impossible. Secondly, there is no way to get down other than breaking the balloons but it would be a waste of material and time. I am from a Spanish-speaking country (be patient with my spelling and writing mistakes) and I will make a 2.0 model to also improve the landing, there will be more elements but I think it will be worth more And be more versatile.

i built the whole thing but my thing wouldnt leave the ground and I am on a flat surface do i need to also put the castle railings can i use normal wooden ones

I don't fully understand durability yet, but I think it should work with the wooden fences!

I have a fix for glitch 3. Add weight to your ship via foundation blocks. Once the ship sink a little, break them and it’ll be able to fly again

Hope the build works out! If you are doing this in survival and run into any problems, I encourage you to return to a couple of the threads in this comment section as some frustrating quirks have been worked out there.

i'be been having an issue where if you log out, these pieces will clip together, meaning you have to re-build the 'floating' parts again, wasting mats as you cannot reclaim those parts for boosters balloons and switches.

Yea, unfortunately logging out creates a lot of issues and glitches for dynamic builds… I hope they can get some fixes for that soon. I kinda made this build as like a quick plane guide for mostly fun creative endeavors like player 2v2s and 4v4s

Have you figured out a way to do this in survival? It seems the wood foundation 05 (4X4X8) only exists in the prebuilds in survival so you can't actually use it on its own.

I think I used the 4x4x12 in the video, but that piece is really replaceable honestly because I think all you really need is something to separate the directional dynamic pads from the main base so that when you break that pillar piece, the pad just falls onto the base. So to answer your question, I feel like any piece that fits that description + is easy for you to break from under the directional dynamic pads should do the trick! Be careful doing this one in survival btw. I don’t know if you got to the glitch section of the video, but this aircraft for some reason will just straight up stop working if you save the world, leave, and then return to the world (hopefully they fix that lol). Good luck with your building endeavors!

everything is very affordable, really easy to farm stuff, the problem is that bugs and glitches always happen and i can assure everyone IT WILL HAPPEN and will ruin everything you're trying to do. I am a player that loves this kinda games and also tries to optimize his time and resources for progressing faster and easier, things i cannot do when i am over the ocean having my airship glitched by not being able to turn or falling off while miles away from home. If you do one of these (or everything else) right now in the game you will get messed up someway, hopefully some opdates will fix this and help us making working "vehicles".

I have this one glitch where when I'm using my turning mech sometimes the thruster and switch will disappear when I enable a separate thruster I don't know why it does this

I have had this happen to me occasionally as well. Usually, if you just place a switch on the bugged dynamic pad, the disappearing items should reappear; however, I have had moments where a thruster would not return and would instead glitch into the base (usually destroying this thruster and replacing it did the trick to fix this particular problem).

You should put the turning” engines away from the center gravity point , otherwise the ship wont turn properly , it just move left and right

If you combine the turning engines with the thrusting engines in different orders of activation you can get a pretty wide range of turns at different angles…But yes, if you solely use the turning engines without thrusters, it only goes left and right (which can actually be pretty useful sometimes).

That’s one way to turn, just add extra thrusters

if u just logged on just place anything then remove, it should fix it

If you went with four balloons, weight should do the trick. If you went with eight I’d recommend cutting balloons probably or somehow shifting the weight to point downwards

Is there a way to make the air plane go down without breaking the balloons

If you go with either four or three balloons, adding weight via blocks should bring the vehicle down.

The building is fun, but rarely work as intended. Ran into another glitch building this in sandbox, went to place a thruster and it didn't let me and I couldn't destroy any part of the build besides the thrusters. When I would break a thruster part of build would disappear, when I break another, it reappears and then goes invisible. The building is fun, but all the toys are broken, and game is glitchy beyond. Needs a fix otherwise it's all a waste of time building anything in this game. Cool ship though, I like how left is actually left and right tis actually right, smart thinking my man.

I tested it a bit… it’s somewhat difficult. If you go the 8 balloon route, adding the necessary weight to bring that down becomes difficult (takes a lot of blocks), so you’d probably have to destroy balloons there. If you go the four balloon route however, I think adding weight would do the trick, but obviously you’ll have to fly at an altitude with lots of obstacles.

Only thing I can think of is Glitch 2 in the vid, but I’m assuming that you were able to place balloons on the craft so I truly don’t know… maybe some pieces are clipping into the ground?

@@kingslay727 I won’t lie, if you are doing the eight balloon version, it takes way too much weight time being down 😂

lol.... just don't try this in survival and try and move your loot from one to another place.( insert all the swear words you know) because if anything goes wrong you loose ALLLLLLL the loot in the boxes for some odd reason. (Weirdly if you break a chest yourself, you get the loot. if you add an almost broken tool into a chest and break the chest it's like brand new but god forbid you place a chest on a self made plane and crash.. bye bye loot.. chest might still be there but loot will be gone) These builds are best to just do in the sandbox mode with unlimited loot. I tried it in normal game mode and it didn't go all that well.. also I don't have that long pillar.. so putting 3 dynamic floors on each other and hitting the middle one out also works. I also weigh my ship down with foundation to make it sink and then break the foundation to make it go up. you seem to get upwards boost when you break the foundations when that flight glitch happens.

Dang sorry to hear that the build is not very survival friendly :/. For the pillar problem, you can also use stacks of the wood foundation 2 blocks, but it seems like you already found a solution yourself that works.

I feel like if you let your momentum slow down before trying to land, you could do so relatively safely-especially with the four balloon version.

i just placed wheels then added small added one big baloon in the middle then popped the 4 and i landed perfectly now its just of matter of getting back@@tmullzer

I’m sorry to hear that! The only glitches I have encountered that might have created that effect are Glitch 2 and 4 in the video + maybe building the build on slanted ground which might cause some of the parts to clip and stick to the surrounding area.

Use the glider for a safe fall and build back up with wood to retrieve the airship. Add blocks for weight on the airship to have it land and then you can go get the materials you used to build up to the ship back

Put thrusters on bottom and just enough balloons to lift it while thrusters are engaged. Shut thrusters off to float down

GLITCH 3 SOLUTION: there is a certain piece on your aircraft that needs to be broken or replaced. This piece is keeping your aircraft stagnant or fixed to a location. Break and replace it and your aircraft should move again. this has worked for me so many times. HOWEVER, every aircraft is different and the piece can be anywhere, my piece was a small fence set down on one of my dynamic foundations. Good luck🫶🏼🫡

Out here doing scrumptious work 🙌 It's tough that the solution is a mid-air hide and seek with your own blocks lol. Do you know if there are any signs we could look out for with the affected block, or does it just blend in with the rest of the build?

@@tmullzer unfortunately the block simply blends in with the aircraft. However since i only figured this out a couple days ago. Ive only been breaking the fence that has been holding my plane still and replacing it. Im thinking that maybe its possible you just need to break any block and replace it so long as its not vital to your planes movement or flotation.
