How To BUILD A Shed From Start To Finish- Part 1

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

That's right! Another build! If you have been following us for awhile now you know we are building a shed to house our solar equipment and pressure tank. In our previous video we trenched in the wire to the shed and today we are finishing up the trenching/pip laying. Next we will build the form for the concrete slab, get the foam insulation, rebar and pex pipe in (for radiant heat) and will start pouring/finishing the concrete.
Two 12 hour days and one 8hr day.... did we get it done?

I’m military stationed overseas, but we are from northern VA right close to WVA, we certainly miss home, so we enjoy watching your videos and seeing the mountains we used to see out our back yard. We hope to get a plot of land like you guys when we get back stateside and have a little piece of heaven!

I hope you two are getting a lot of young viewers because the both of you are setting a great example of what can be accomplished by working together. All of this while raising children, living in an RV, and taking care of the farm, especially while Josh is working full time. From another retired construction worker from Wild and Wonderful !!

So sorry you're sick Erin. Wouldn't you know it would come on just when you all were making this push while Josh is available for weekdays and y'all can get so much done. But, we women, we push through it! Take care of yourself. You have a beautiful family you're caring for. Great job on the trenching and piping and back filling and slab laying. That was four normal work days that you compacted into three and I know you both are tired. Take a break, get some rest, and enjoy the holiday.

Hello from the Bahamas. This is my husband and I first time watching, we spent the whole of 1 and 2 July watching all of the others to catch up. we enjoy them all. love you guys. we want to see it to the end. we love the smart remarks and how you both get alone. we laughed and smiled at all of them. we loved the "Little Ricky" one the most.

Very smart using a metallic conduit sweep and riser ! That is where most conduits fail !! When uncoiling cable you are better off placing a piece of rebar through the center and making some kind of holder so the spool is horizontal, not vertical. The wire unwinds with no twist/kinks ! Good job on the vapor barrier and foam under your slab. It makes a big difference with radiant heat !

Just a thought, I have a feeling many of those trees are going to end up dying out because the roots were roughed up pretty bad. I could be wrong, but I know it happened to ours around our house. To bad you couldn't get the chicken brooder floor laid, but all things will get finished eventually. Blessings to your family.

Looks like good progress is being made (weather can be frustrating at times) your hard work shows your dedication. The rooster reminds me of visiting my Grand Parents when I was very young ... very good memories ... as you are building yours as well. You have picture perfect scenery, my Grand Parents lived on a high bluff that directly overlooked the Minnesota River valley below. Your trail reminds me of walks to look for missing cows through their pasture that had many trees where a creek ran through. The butterfly in the opening scene seemed appropriate and Ted Williams in his book "Animal Speak Pocket Guide gives shamanic meaning to their presence, you'll have to get the book for the full description but the last sentence is "Embrace the new beginnings".
