Hey man, I noticed those gloves you're wearing. Those are so frustrating to wear. Try buying some Maxiflex gloves. You'll be glad you did! They're great.

This was great, thanks, I been tryin to find out about "build furniture with 2x4" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Venoffison Wooden Exploration - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Ive heard some interesting things about it and my friend got great results with it.
I love that you show not what only went well, but little mistakes along the journey! 💖
Sick, Awesome collab and that white oak is so clean 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Thanks, Mike! And somehow I called this the biggest thing I've built. I clearly blacked out my memory of that beast cedar table we did out there 😂😂. Biggest thing I'm keeping would be better 😀👍
The 4 x 4 box was genius!! Necessity is truly the mother of invention. Great build Brad!

Killer project Brad! Really love that table base!
This is such an awesome table, Brad! Beautiful work, as always.
"Grinding and painting make you the welder you ain't" classic! Great build.
The way you installed those threaded inserts is really clever. They can be a nightmare!

Thanks. I might build my dining table. Thanks for the idea. I like the style of the table top and metal base.
Great table, Brad. More than I would tackle but you pulled it off. This is from one engineer to another. Stay safe and healthy. Bill

Terrific video. Really inspirational. Much appreciated. Thanks.
Brad so happy to see you expand into some metalwork. You make it look so easy. Good decision on the chamfer, I may copy that exact chamfer for an upcoming project.

With the tri-legs the table looks complete different from the other normal table. It is power of design.
This came out great man!! Really like it! Have done a few white oak projects and I'm starting to think when I finally redo our dining table, it'll be white oak.

Great table and video. I'm jealous of both jointers as i still don't have one. I still use a #7 hand plane. Question about the welding. Do you use gas or do you use flux core wire?

I know! Took a month off for various reasons, but I'm coming on full bore now!
Very impressive build and the final product looks great. I like the design of the base. Does the "t" concept add some stability to the table. I recently did a table with meal legs and I felt that there is too much "wobble" ie it shakes a little too much for me Thinking that the t shape may help eliminate that Thoughts Steve
Great video! What brand is that spreader clamp from? I don't see it in the description or your tool list
What’s the thinnest/lightest wood to use for a (desk) surface assembled with planks or wood and biscuits like this?

That turned out great! I’m digging that corner detail. On a side note. I’m not in the “anti sponsor” camp. I totally understand the situation. I will say though I found myself actually interested and engaged in this add because it wasn’t only pertinent to making but also relative to the project. Just a thought.

Stunning table, could the legs be made out of wood as I don't have a welder in my shop
Great table, Brad !! I really like the design of the base - I call it "Early 21st Century Modern".... :)

Hahaha, Modern definitely can mean a lot of things these days. Thanks for watching as always!
Quick question, how are you mitigating the blue reaction that oak has with steel?
What kind of wood would you recommend for staining?
we have the same track saw and evolution chop saw haha.
One more subscriber coming right up! Let's hit a million. First one is the harderst.

nice build, i made something like that but used 2x4’s, metal was to much work
How essential would you say a biscuit joiner is? Been thinking of getting one mainly for aligning panel glue ups but not 100% sold if it will help or not.
@Fixthisbuildthat
4 жыл бұрын
I rarely use them. Anything less than about 24" wide on a glue up or 4 boards or less I won't use one
That's not a table, that's my cooking master
Can I ask how you attached table top and to allow for wood movement?
First video I've seen using threaded inserts - is this better than standard screws? Guessing you don't tighted screws too much to allow 2-3mm movement?
I noticed you had both the kreg and bow products feather board. Do you prefer one over the other?
@Fixthisbuildthat
4 жыл бұрын
the Kreg has more flex that's why I switched to it because the boards started having a lot of change in width. For straight boards I prefer the bow
Спасибо тебе за это видео! Хорошая работа!
Great Job. I love. I want Table, Can you buy it.
Can you please mention the dimensions of the base frame? Of how long the rectangular tube steel is to be cut in order to make that T shape!
Hi, what cutting wheel did you use for cutting the steel (mitre)? It looks solid
