Nice! you should make it that you can turn the handle 360 degrees, so you don't have to turn it back. From what I see, that the liftarm attached to the gear is pushing and pulling it, I think it should be possible :D

I used 4 - black 1x1 cheese slopes within the coin rejection area.

Wait do you have to use those, black peices that have the ittle dibets in them?

If you are referring to the 1x4 black bricks, then you can use a normal 1x4 brick rather than the modified brick.

Also dose this work with any English money?
