This build has been so cool, I advise anyone watching to have the patience and discipline to build it, it's simple but takes long to gather the materials, overall building is fun because he makes it so simple and symmetric where you can freestyle a little. It will be worth your while!

I love this build, I added a bedrock iron farm that fits perfectly inside the second floor with a trading hall outside. Bottom floor is an automatic villiager crop farm. It took me 3 weeks, longer because they are all zombie villagers

I built this as Hall of Fame in Vanilla SMP server as we are the biggest and richest city in the server. Totally cool! interior are decorated with showcase glass, inside have Armor stand wearing each's members head and describe their role in making of this city :D

This is amazing, personally I’d use mangrove rather than spruce and Diorite / polished Diorite / calcite for the walls to make it look more oriental

Thank you! You're right, if you want a more realistic look of a Japanese temple, it would be made of "white blocks" . I chose a complete wooden construction, but the good thing is: anyone can use the tutorial as a template and use their own types of blocks.

At the moment I´m working on a very large Japanese castle, similar to the style of the temple, so that means also with spruce wood and deepslate roofs... but the walls are made of polished diorite! It will be quite large and not historically accurate (more a combination of towers and temples). But it will look epic! I just think it's a bit too huge for most players and it's a lot of work to farm all the materials. But a few will enjoy it even more😂

Theoretically it works, but the Cherry Logs are purple and the rest of the temple is made of brown spruce planks and spruce stairs... it could be that this looks a bit mixed up - but do what you like the most! If you want to build a temple with cherry wood, you can have a look at my new tutorial. A fantasic build but i think ladders isn‘t the best way to come up i would make spiral staircases or sth like that

Sooo much spruce wood. I had a spruce forest behind my house now its a plains. Fun build tho. Awesome roof but killer on the brain.

I built this on a survival server with my friends, but Im scared to put the hanging campfires and have it burn down. Is that for sure not going to catch anythjng near it? I lost a big build to a fire once, so I have ptsd.

Campfires can not burn surrounding blocks, they are safe 😅

Finished making it and switched the cobble deep slate for purpur blocks and it looks amazing
