I remember, around this time last year, I had just downloaded ARK on my laptop with a Pentium 2030M. I honestly don't know what I was thinking. I started thinking about what I could do, then realized that people built PCs. I found this video and realized how easy it would be. That was the day I decided to build a PC. Now, I'm well on my way to having all of the things i need. Thanks for the inspiration man.

I've been on console most of my life (with a tiny bit of pc when I was really small, around 5 and younger) and ever since I got Diablo 3 I've been wanting to switch to pc or at least do both ps4 and pc, but it's so expensive! Then I found out you can build your own pc for half the price. I figure now that I'm a professional assembler (bikes, bbq grills and patio furniture) I can probably handle this with a little guidance. Your instructions here are better than every instruction manual I've ever read :)

get a bigger PSU and you seem to be set, but google pcpartpicker, and it will be of great help to get the best parts possible! also, can suggest to grab a used display, most of the times they have nothing wrong with them, and their life expectancy is always around 10 years, so you can save a lot of money and lose no quality whatsoever!

Forgot that motherboards have main slots for the memory cards and side slots in pairs (stated on the body of the motherboard). usually aligned as main | side | main | side . if you have 1 you want to install it on the first main. if you have 2 install on both of the mains, NOT 1 ON MAIN AND 1 ON SIDE ! It will run better ! (and if you have 4 then just push 'em all in).

Thanks, man. Even though your guide was way too simplistic for me when I was building my PC, I needed a good starting point for my college level speech that is an instructional guide. It could be how to ride a bike, bake a cake, etc, but I decided on explaining how to build a computer. I know that I left out plenty of information since the speech can only be 5-7 minutes long, but it doesn't matter since these are just average people that will most likely not even remember anything that I say to begin with, lol.
