Current technology allows us to spread to country side and not being stuck in cities. That's how we can ensure the security of our food and other physological needs. But most of us don't know how to start or do it. Your videos are great source for that knowledge. Please keep going to create content. Big thanks!!

It'd be great if it continues this way for us all but I keep seeing bad news and it looks like the gov't is gonna make it harder and harder for people like us to do this..to the point of squeezing us out of the rural areas and forcing us to live in cities to control everyone...poisoning our food supply with MRNA...meat and veggies. I don't like saying this but I'm scared and this is what their projecting. I sure hope their wrong and everyone stands up against the tyranny...fight for our freedoms and our homesteads.

Joshua, I was hoping you would address the critters factor in composting. I live in a city setting and am reluctant to compost because it will attract rats and racoons and their friends. I've watched about a dozen videos on how to start/build a composting receptacle and not one channel discussed the downside of critter attraction. I would appreciate a reply. I'm a new subscriber and I am enjoying your gardening knowledge offerings. Peace be with you. Best wishes from The Great Lake State of Michigan 🐢

I started mine with pallets last fall but I made it into a double size and put two piles in it...started it with sticks ..then leaves...then green grass clippings....I got it too big and then I couldn't turn it easily...I'm physically challenged and no upper body strength so It sits...wasted time just sitting not making compost I need...it has started on the bottoms of the piles but it could be further along if it was done correctly. Now I seen your way and maybe I should of done that instead...I have bad knees and the compost piles are on the other side of our property across the pasture so Its a trek for me ..then to do the work is exhausting...I wish I could afford to hire someone to fix them for me but no money for that. I've never watered the pile either...its under a tree line in shade so it cant get too hot...maybe that isn't good either...idk.

Hey I seen your viral Tik-Tok about the raised beds we're considering doing that in the future I wanted to know how you like your metal ones? And what exact size do you have we have a really big garden and if we get them we would have to have several so trying to weigh out the cost between building them with wood or buying them like you have which I know yours would probably last longer than wood and if you could post a link it sure would help your channel out thanks so much and God bless you your family and your Channel❤ and where you purchased them from

Hey! Thanks for watching! I got the beds from a partnership with Forever Garden Beds and I just noticed they are having a 50% sale. I tested it and everything is ringing up half price! Most things are out of stock but there are a few options left. Use code: PAYHALF for 50% off! forevergardenbeds.com/?ref=TGIG (affiliate link) I like them a lot, the 17in is a lot more practical then the 32in size, but it is nice to be able to stand and garden. I've had them less then a year so I can't speak to longevity, but I'm hoping for 10-15 years.

@@the_garden_is_growing they are out of both of those I still are an investment even with the 50% off we will figure something out won't be doing it this year anyway the 32 inch would be amazing for growing stuff that doesn't grow that tall the shorter 17-inch would work great for tomatoes Etc thank you against for riding me back
