How To Build A 16x50 Greenhouse In 8 Hours

Caterpillar tunnel, high tunnel, hoop house. Whatever you call it, we finally built one and this one trick can literally save your life when digging around your garden. We built a small greenhouse a few months ago but we needed more room to grow food in raised garden beds so we put up this giant caterpillar tunnel greenhouse. We're going to fill it with raised garden beds in the hope that we can avoid weeds like we have in our main garden.

Seriously though, you're a very lucky man to have your lovely daughters helping you and, I'm sure as a father with a daughter....the amount of patience you have has earned you a place in heaven. But your oldest is quite the ham, it seems! Looking forward to seeing more of your tunnel... hopefully no hurricanes are in your future!!! Take care Hax-family, be safe and God bless!

    There's so many times that we are on the same wavelength brother. I've been trying to research this exact thing for those exact same problems. I do have a question about how it gets secured to the rebar. Is there any way you're securing it to your grounding stakes? What brand is this? Do you think you'll be able to get three rows of raised beds down the length of the greenhouse? As a side note, I will no longer be eating dinner while watching your videos. You may have ruined tacos from me man.

  • @HAXMAN

    @HAXMAN

    7 ай бұрын

    Thanks again for the info earlier! Before the rebar is pounded a little tab with a clip on it is slid over it. It’s held in place with friction and that’s what the rope that goes over the whole thing is attached to. Other than the wiggle wire on the ends that’s what holds everything down. This one is 16 x 50 so you can definitely get three rows. I bought it from Farmers Friend. I was going to do a DIY version but by the time I got it how big Kim wanted it, it was cheaper and easier to buy it. My bad bro. 😂 At least I blurred it. Just tell yourself it was a Snicker bar strategically placed for the story. 😉

    $2360 - $2810 is the current price depending on the options selected. Perhaps the best thing about their website is they didn't make is some HUGE challenge (like so many others do) to try to find out what the damned things cost. @@HAXMAN
