    Love this video! I've not waxed my boat yet. Still new (to us) does that wax hold up in salt water? Also, do you do the inside of the boat? Floor? Walls? Thanks.

  • @Justbereelflorida

    @Justbereelflorida

    Жыл бұрын

    Once you return the shine, I wax all of the smooth fiberglass surfaces. The wax will hold up for 3-6 months ive heard. But you need to buy a boat soap that wont remove the wax layer. Don’t use dish soap, buy a good boat soap.

    I'm new here I like your easy step by step video my wife showed me the video after purchasing the products that you are using. My question is can I buff the boat and polish later. I mean I want to oxidize my boat first and then continue to polish and wax later Tell me your thoughts

  • @Justbereelflorida

    @Justbereelflorida

    Yes buff first then polish and then wax. I like to do 1 side at a time and go through all 3 steps. Before moving on. Just how I like to do it, to remember where I left off.

    Do you still do only shoulder width, start to finish when doing the whole boat. Or compound whole boat, then polish, then wax.

  • @Justbereelflorida

    @Justbereelflorida

    2 ай бұрын

    You can do it either way. I normally compound one whole side, then polish then wax and then move to the other side and repeat. But my boat isn’t very large.
