@@grandestyledoggrooming I’ve just ordered my Artero long slicker, and they do a small long gentle slicker too for the smaller areas. Really hoping they help with my bolo. I was so interested to see how the Chris Christensen big G got lodged in the bischons hair and the Artero went through smoothly. I hope it helps with my grooming. Thank you for this very informative video, Suzanne! I have a shih tzu mix and am looking for a brush for her. She hates the one I‘m using now, esp. on her legs where matts/tangles tend to form.

Great video. What do you recommend for a shichon? (Half shitzu and half bischon) she has a silky but also part wire (down the spine) coat.

I recommend the Artero Flexible Slicker or the Paw Brothers Flexible Slicker.

Thank you for the information. I have an almost 3 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Beagle mix. What brush would be best to deshed her? I have a zoom groom and a wire brush. But it seems like she doesn't stop shedding. Her vet says she's healthy she's just a shedder. Any advice would be helpful.

It depends on the length of the coat. Under 2 inches long an Artero flexible slicker, an Artero universal slicker and a Chris Christensen BUTTERCOMB 000 is what I would consider.
