I personally prefer to use undergravel filters and once I have hardened whichever species I simply trigger the spawning and they won't stop. I also used to have a tank to condition water for water changes and any tanks with fish had it's own siphon/gravel vacuum.

Very nice video :) 8:10 we can see that the pleco is sick , having internal parasites as well as the guppies are skiny (which is because of the internal parasites).

Pat, is there a reason for the black substrate? Also, your reasoning for the guppies I had never thought of...is another reason for dither fish...so they can see activity above them?

L236sw is in pure tape water ?? Or dose he use water conditions for tap water ??
