So cool to see these Wrigglers develop and the parents are still doing their job. It really dosen't happen that way very often. Excited to see where this goes. NOW THE HARD PART!

I am so happy to see this going so well. I have gotten to a hatch stage and the parents just eat the Wrigglers. I really hope you have continued success.

Hey George, great job my friend 👍 Parents are doing a great job in caring for the wee ones, that's for sure. Here's hoping that a good amount of them will grow up to be as beautiful as their parents ✌️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Unfortunately that wont happen. He's crossed strains. So the fry will grow up very peppered.

Great video George. This is the hardest phase of the process as the become free swimmers . The dark background concerns me because it may make the fry get lost. If you can lighten that up somehow you would have a better chance.

I love the follow up. As I said in your first video in this series, make sure you wipe down the walls of the tank when doing water changes. So far so good. It is going to be interesting to see if the free swimmers find the parents. Again good luck.

you mentioned in one of your last videos that you dont expect the colors to be good. what colors do you think you might get? also, if you dont mind, where do you get your discus? I am about 1 month out to even contemplating discus. i just setup the hardscape this weekend and need to do plumbing and water change setup next. there are just more color strains then when i had discus two years ago such as Red Ninja Cuipea Alenquer Cross, High Body Rafflesia, and more. i see them on Jack Wattley Discus but of course they are all sold out. I can't seem to find any other guys that have these "new" strains that are really just breath taking.

@@aquaticconceptsbringingwaterto Yeh, I saw that too. Third on my wish list after the two I mentioned. Ill give them a call soon to see where they are with restocking. I think I might wait for those strains versus the traditional ones. THX

ugh. I just had a mother discus mate with her son.. so weird. A day later, all the eggs were gone. Just as well though, as it was not setup as a spawning tank and they spawned on the heater outer plastic cover.

Please, I have a question about the discs. I have more than one pair, and every time the eggs are laid directly from the second day, the eggs rot. Note that I use Arrow water
