Don’t forget the legs, back dark meat and believe it or not the heart and liver are amazing. The thighs and back meat, I make breakfast Sausage like the meet eater Steven Rinella, it’s amazing!!! The heart and liver is way better then whitetail. My wife love the breast ground for healthy cooking of course I’m a deep fried man. I even bone out all my wings to make calls out of the wing bones and I use the wing meet for Sausages as well. The drum stick we use for turkey Noodle soup 🍲. I throw away everything but the breast for so so many years but there so much more we can do with our trophies!!!! Btw way brother I love the pickle juice and ranch that’s the best deep fry batter ever!!!!

Great video Phil....I'd suggest doing one on drying the fan out for display or for a decoy....I'm still surprised the number of guys that pay a taxidermist to process a fan, it's easier than everyone thinks....sorry taxidermist friends....

Does anyone know the reason turkeys smell so bad I’ve cleaned them a few hours after I killed them and I’ve done it within 30 minutes of killing and they all smell awful
