You can lighten gray hair at home. In my client's case, about 25% of their hair is scattered with gray. When dealing with gray hair, the lightening process differs slightly, but it does differ.
After lightening, the hair should have a slight yellowish hue. This color indicates that the hair is alive and in good condition. Now, it's time to tone it. The toning shade is chosen according to the client's preference. We settled on an ashy shade. However, since there is scattered gray, we add a natural shade, 9.0, to the main color mixture, as ashy tones alone won't cover the gray. The proportions are adjusted based on the percentage of gray.
