    (DOUBLE GREEN BLINK FIX FROM TBS SUPPORT) The double blink means authentication failure. Please redo binding and follow the steps below. 1. Power off Tx & Rx. 2. Power on Rx. 3. Press the bind button on Rx. 4. Power on Tx 5. Start bind mode on Tx. Remember to check the antenna before rebind.

    the "tool" I used for pressing the bind button is a "Q-Tip" with the cotton bulb cut off, you want to cut off the bulb with a sharp blade leaving a flat and smooth end cut. And the best part about the "tool" is it isnt conductive like metal etc. Its stiff enuf so you can feel the button click when it is pressed down.

    HI, if your quad is CRF BNF, do you need to select SBUS OUTPUT as you do in the TR16S settings ? I don't understand why changing CRF to SBUS if your TX and RX are CRF please. ( I'm about to receive my tiny whoop CRF quad in the next hours ! )

  • @RCVideoReviews

    @RCVideoReviews

    3 жыл бұрын

    It depends on the flight controller. If your flight controller can use CRSF then use it. If it can't (many can't) then you need to use sbus. Think of CRSF and SBUS as multi-channel/single wire. It's not the RX and TX you need to worry about, it's the RX and the FC that both need to speak SBUS or CRSF.

    I don't know why they show Curr/Capa as options. I don't know how to get current readings from a straight BEC connection. I believe that has to come from a FC or some other device with a current sensor. Power supply monitoring is only good up to 2s LiPo but that should show up. There's a note in the manual to select Ignore Instances if sensors are missing. It might be worth a try??

    Very informative. Question for you I just switched from the taranis x9d to the radiomaster t16s with the full Crossfire module. I have been having trouble with the transmit power only outputting 2 milliwatts. No matter what I set the output power to on the crossfire module it would not transmit more than 2 milliwatts. And was getting critical RSSI warnings only ten feet away. So I deleted all sensors on the radiomaster and reclicked discover new sensors. And was finally getting the proper transmit power. But I lost other Telemetry sensors like current and Kappa, along with a few other sensors. Basically I just had RSSI centers and no longer had battery voltage current traffic and a few other ones. Why did I lose the actual flight controller Telemetry data?

  • @RCVideoReviews

    @RCVideoReviews

    Can you delete and re-add those sensors on your Taranis? I would re-bind with Taranis and see if you can remove and re-add. If you can, then you may be facing some software issues. I.e. Get latest OpenTx, get latest lua, get latest crossfire firmware. I know with the iNav scripts it just works straight up.

    It's not just for quads. It's a Transmitter/Receiver combo. It can be used for any type of RC model; however, as the nano rx has no pwm/power out, you need to find a way to drive your servos. Look into any basic stabilizer that supports s.bus. iStone stabilizers from Detrum work well with s.bus.

    Thanks for video and i hope you can help, i've been flying my wing about a month with crossfire micro tx v2 and nano receiver couple days ago I swapped out the nano with a new nano due to range didn't seem as good as it should be, now i'm missing some sensor data in my radiomaster tx16s, radio shows all sensors i think 22 but gps,gps speed,alt. and battery percent all missing, i've tried deleting and rediscovering but still no data. when connected to laptop inav is showing good 18 sat. and gps location, i've updated the tx and rx using crossfire companion. I've also been in radio sensor page trying to change settings on these sensors which has maybe made it worst. my opentx is 2.3.9 and inav is 2.5.0. i've even tried the first nano but same results. what am I missing? Any help would be great Thanks again

    That's definitely a strange problem. You had data, switched RXs, lost data, switched back, still lost data. I'm not sure where to go with that one. Did you make any iNav changes? Did you change any firmware in the middle of all of this? If I were in your shoes, I'd probably save my iNav config, do a full reset, configure crossfire in iNav, create a new model, bind, and discover sensors. i.e. I'd strip it down to fresh and very basic to see if I could get it back, then I'd go from there. That's a tough problem.

    Ok, that was a bit of a tear and hard to follow. Here's what I can say: 1) I use Radiomaster exclusively. While I've had one switch fail and RM took care of me very quickly, I've had no other failures. 2) I use Crossfire for most of my FPV setups. My first Crossfire TX lost its wifi module for some reason, but was still able to bind with Crossfire RXs--I wasn't comfortable with that, so I replaced it with another Crossfire TX. My main FPV setup then is Radiomaster TX16s and Crossfire. I've had two minor issues with them, but otherwise they've been solid. I seriously do not believe Josh "jacked" you. You have to understand as reviewers, we can only see what is in front of us, not what is in the future. I'm sure his review of the T16 was as accurate as he could make it the day he did it. It's really not fair to hold him accountable for a failure not evident on day one. I've watched a number of his videos and while I don't always see eye to eye with him, I don't believe for one second that he's a sellout or trying to be deceptive. Hope that helps
