thanks so much, helped out alot but here's a tip: for diamond armour, you don't have to go mining actually. just get 3 more villagers armour smith, weaponsmith, and maybe toolsmith if you want. When you get them to master's lvl they sell diamond armour, tools and weapons. Its even enchanted. Just disenchant them with grindstone if the enchatns are bad and then renchant them. ik the mining is probably faster but this is like permanent way.

yup in my smp I couldn't find diamonds at all but I just grinded these villagers and got full diamond. also if you manage to get villagers trading stuff like swords with at least 1 maxed enchantment on it then you can make it a god sword with 7 enchantments

For newer players in SMP type servers who struggle to prepare for wars and win them, you can get the best gear even faster if you don't farm sugar cane and cows for books. You can buy bookshelves from villagers with a few emeralds obtained from trading sticks, and get the books from there. Also, if you want to be fast as possible when you make your gear, make the maxed axe first, it will be a lifesaver because you will chop down trees WAY faster, and the rest of your gear will be so much easier to get. I have experience in getting the best stuff possible because I play in SMP servers for more than 3 years, and I've never lost a war, because I know how to get my gear ready as fast as possible, and I know how to pvp. In these 3 years of playing in SMP server, I realized something that might help you. Most ppl get desperate to get the best armor and weapons, and they don't know how, you can use that as your advantage and make extra gear for them to make them join your side. In my current SMP, I did that, and most of the players joined me, and I didn't even have to fight, I just gave them gear, and they would fight for me. If they were loosing, I'll just join the fight and win in like 2 minutes. This video is AMAZING at teaching players how to gear up and win wars, but you can also use my tricks if you need to ;)

since it's factions, here's another tip: get bottles, go to end first and get loads of dragon's breath. 1.9+ pvp actually really favors the use of tipped arrows

Igloo exploiting is also good. The villager you cure early game (all supplies supplied by igloo basement) allows for a cheap villager. Using the cured one as an armourer and trading iron as well as a few diamonds, we can get a full set of diamond armour for under 10 emeralds, usually only 4.

Wow this video was very helpful i just started a smp with my friends and thus is realy useful thanks!

for the emerald getting part you can instead build ianxofour's simple raid farm (non stacking version) it's extremely simple to build and i've built it myself on the 2nd or 3rd minecraft day. you will get over 3k emeralds per hour and also gives you a very powerful early game xp source. you should modify the farm and add a better sorting system and also build a level 30 table there for maximum efficiency.

I would recommend making ianXO4's day one iron farm (go ahead and make 2 or 3, they are INCREDIBLY easy) and then trade the iron for emeralds and get tools and armour that way. Grindstone them later and apply librarians books to them

Although it is true that depth strider feather falling aqua affinity and respiration don’t play to much in PvP but if you end up in a water fight haveing the aquatic boot and helmet enchants gives you a big advantage and feather falling 4 makes you take less hp on pearls so if you can get them take it

nice vid, but one recommendation TURTLES turtle master is one of the most overpowered potions you can ever have in a fight, making you tank 80% percent of regular damage at a level 2 potion, and with the other gear u recommended in the vid, it means against underprepared plyers, even with a number disadvantage, you could dominate, you can also use ender pearls to move quickly or just jumps around for anyone asking about the slowness

​@@maxbrennan6562 by jumping and even speed 2 paired to counter the slowness its easy to get combos with turtle master, but still with skill combos are viable

If you master level a Fletcher, there is a 2/3 chance that he will want a trip wire hook, and you can easily make an abomination of a machine that duplicates those

i suggest to make a xp farm, one of the best farm i always create on a smp is a raid farm. it gives you xp and emeralds very fast, it also gives you totem. no need to do a very effecient one just mine out a flat area and make a hole for the illagers to fall in and put the villager underground next to the hole

for the diamond gear part: just beat the ender dragon and loot end cities for several shulkers of diamond gear and elytras. as wel as emerelds and gold you can trade 3 for 1 emereld. In the stronghold libary you can find bookshelves as well.

you can use carpenter's glass trade instead of fletchers if you have sand nearby

this really help me getting stacked on a minecraft server

You could also get glass panes for emeralds, this way is also really efficient

@@jirpw7730 librarians can sell glass which you can convert to glass panes to sell to cartographers, it's the best emerald exploit

Well actually i found out a better way of getting emeralds if u want it fast. Just use masons because in the 1.18 update lush caves give A TON of clay. Sure you would need a shovel but an iron or a diamond one without enchants would be pretty much all u need. I have using this method alot of times and it saved me from trying to find a spruce biome or wood. Its also insta mine with and efficiency 4 diamond shovel

My way (i think its easier): 1. Build simply raid farm 2. Buy diamond amour with ems 3. Farm up the Acient 4. First dechant amour then enchant (lvl30) with lvl from farm 5. brew potions with mostly drops from farm 6. build complicated stacking raid farm to become op beyond anything you have ever seen in minecraft

I actually like to build a couple of ianxofors day one iron farms which deliver iron which can be traded to weapon smiths armourers and toolsmiths so u get all the emeralds with no logging and unlock diamond gear without mining because they’re nearly instant masters.

netherite will spawn off chunk borders sometimes but has a preference to spawn on chunk borders rather than the middle of the chunk.

pro tip for late game get cartographers to trade glass for emeralds glass is faster to get and with eeff 5 u can get stacks in mins

After the process of the video build a raid farm that would be super helpful

i prefer to get my diamond gear from the villagers aswell, used about 2hrs to get full netherite prot mending unb, and a sharpenss v axe. Just trade for gear and books, while waiting for trades to reset either farm or go around sheering sheeps

This was very useful in my POOP SMP

Cure some villagers make them buy glass panes for 1 emerald each then get librarians to give you glass for 1 emerald and get some farmers to get pumpkin and melon trades then make a melon and pumpkin farm also BOOM U GOT INFINTE EMERALDS (you just need patience)

@@cabbage2329 it takes 3 hours, you can get infinite ems so you can get bottles aswell, ianxofours farm makes it possible but ik your point. (you could also make the smaller ianxofour raid farm)
