How to Become An Elite Transition Offensive Team

Спорт

In this video, we breakdown the keys to creating quality shots in transition. It's statistically proven that almost every team scores at a higher rate in transition than in the half court. These principles will help you do the same.
This video will breakdown;
1. Live Ball Turnovers
2. Advantage Situations
3. Standard Transition
In these areas, we talk about the importance of The First 5 Steps, Early Pitch Aheads, & Balancing the Floor with Good Spacing.

    How do you determine who goes to corners vs run to rim. Is it on the fly decision or is it preset based on player/position?

  • @TheFilmRoom1

    Personnel is a key factor. If you have a post player who isn’t a shooter, he/she should always run to the rim (if they don’t take the ball out of bounds on a make first). For everyone else, it’s about feel. I tell our wings/guards, if you look ahead and you have a layup, always run for the layup. If you see the layup isn’t there because of defense, sprint corner.

    Yo, I plan on playing next year my senior year, I understand how to play 1 on 1, 2 on 2a and 3s but I've never played 5 on 5 basketball neither pick up or a high school game, I don't understand like certain terminology or how to move on the court, or certain screens, any tips on how to start? Because although I cook everyone in the park I assume a real basketball game is much different you know

    If anyone is looking for transition offense, almost all teams run the 2 sided break.

    @@derrick5380 hey, I only have so much time to make content & I wanted to cover the Euroleague playoffs for people who don’t subscribe to their platform and can watch the games. I will do more breakdowns and teaching once the season is over. They were playing games every other day for a stretch which is difficult to do breakdowns for every game.
