In this video you gonna learn 5 things you need to become a great salsa dancer.
This first thing is: PASSION. Do what you love. this gonna help to stay motivated. Do not dance or do something for someone else. If you do it just to impress someone you do not have the right motivation.
2. Repetition: Repeat you basic Steps. The basic makes the whole dance. Try to CELEBRATE your Basic and keep repeating until your muscles knows the movement. Ask your teacher for help.
3. Listen to music. This will help you to understand the music much better and remember all breaks and highlights of a song.
4. Trial & Error. Be so proud and learn form your mistakes. Do not be afraid of failing. Think positive and remember my example about Thomas Edison. He did not fail, he just found 10.000 ways that did not work.
5. Grow. Remember: Life is growth. if you are not growing you are as good as dead. Keep on training, be humble and never stop growing.

Passion is what let you start doing something ... I think you also need to feel dancing... it’s something that makes you feel good, something that you need as air or water ... it’s life!!! I love dancing 💃 🤩😍

First thanks for your video. I would add something that has been just suggested : Watching talented dancers, and learn from their tips. I sometimes watch and rewatch your videos and another guy's videos, because you two represent how I would ideally dance like.
I am not sure about that one, but I feel to become a GREAT or at least GOOD dancer, you need a dance partner you can regularly practice with. I know many trainers tell something else, but I really don't think you come that far by going to socials. Because frist, socials are not the right place to practice the "difficult" stuff caus you will bore the hell out of your partner there who came to the party to just have some fun. And secondly, some moves cannot be practised if you don't talk about them before so that both have at least a clue what's going on. So yeah.. I think you need a partner that wants to train with you.

Nice too meet you guys . Two years back I was learning alot but then this year got busy slowed down and ohh my basic steps was embarrassing so off beat.. But my hubby help get back to counting extra so much better again . And passion is what I need as I have trouble relexing when I dance
