Quick update: In the Melodious Combo, i pendulum summon Lo. Thats a misplay, but it doesnt change the combo. Just Normal summon it later :)

Ghost belle can also negate pre prep and saffira add effect. Also the worst matchup has to be Branded by far, they have too much engine push and you cant stop it all

Thanks for the great video! I love all your “How to beat _” videos because I don’t really have enough time to learn the decks myself. I was wondering if you have already made a how to beat Branded video or have plans to (I couldn’t find one in your “How to Beat _” playlist)? Of course Ash on Branded Fusion but some other hand traps like Crow, Belle, and Imperm I am somewhat unsure on. Keep up the good work!

good imperm targets: quem, cartesia, aluber, albion (but dont imperm any of them if they have cartesia live next to one of them, as they can just quickeffect to fuse and dodge the imperm) safe ash for branded fusion, cuz u have to, it just gives to much of an advantage. try to bystial the gimmic puppet in grave or get it out of the grave somehow to deny getting puppet locket. if you cant try to dropplet sanctifier dragon. dont end ur bord on dragons, as they can just contact fuse albaz and all your dragons to alba lenatus. try to face down banish or turn back to hand mirrorjade, so your monsters dont get popped in the endphase if you outed it any other way. dont side nibiru! side d-barrier going first. cartesia, branded in red and branded banishment can fusion summon in your turn. play shifter if you can theyll end on dragostapelia (they maybe play dark dragoon to still set up a decent board, but its far from standard these days) branded despia is a very complex deck with alot of ways to play around and through handtraps. but ash on branded fusion hurts alot and dbarrier should be game going first. good luck duelist

crow kinda depends on game state, as their fusion monsterst can add or set cards in the turn they got sent to grave maybe hit albion. albaz and puppet (if they go for lock) are good targets aswell. belle can be used on quem, sanctifier dragon maybe branded retribiution, if they try to get branded fusion by sending it to grave and banishing retribiution to add brafu to hand. but both have to little impact to be worth siding imo

I definitely see the Voiceless Melodious voice being the best version in the future I mean 1 ostinato getting 2x mat apo, i:p into an s:p and an omni by itself without using normal summon is pretty insane. and the names just gels together it is just meant to be (okay this is a reach 😂). I can't wait to see the future what awaits and how the Voiceless melodious deck gets refined

@@nekrozofmakoto120 yeah I know what you mean its 8x slots which is quite a bit of space thats almost max copies of 3 non engine but honestly I think you can get away with running it just slightly over 40 especially to try prevent drawing into the brickier cards

Shifter. Paleo can't do anything about it. Ash or belle the Needlebug nest card. Try to remove Rollback from GY. It's essential for the deck. Side Soul Release, it is a good card against this deck.

Pleaase could you do a video ob beating Branded? I've so much trouble against it as a new player cause all those effects feel disjointed in design like an anime archetype 🙏

Traptrix is a decent structure deck option, all the cards you would add to it are low cost. But it's not the strongest deck. Dinosaurs are solid too. And if you're comfortable going to around 50$ you can probably build a very good Melodious Supreme king deck

Banish the Lo/Novox by any means possible including generic cards like Chain Of Disappearance and the deck loses about half of its strength.

Wait, Ostinato cant pendelsummon Lo - you can Pendel 2-8. The Numbers written on the card are exlcuded right? But you would pendelsummoned the refrain from extradeck. Lo is the Normalsummon after you made melodious plays.

in depth you forgot even more. You need to pendelumsummon the Dragon + Refrain in both zones beyond points to. Then you pop your scale - otherwhise the dragon is a vanilla (he needs an empty space in scale too use his effect) Then you take refrain+refrain for I:P and after that I:P + beyond for Appo

Correct yes you normal summon lo. If you choose to still play diviner of the herald you can pend summon as diviner of herald is lvl 2 but I think melodious vv have cut it from the lists

Disagree about DRNM. On its own, sure it is underwhelming, but it is a team effort to take down VV and let’s be realistic, it is very unlikely to see most handtraps together in order to create as much disruption as possible. I have beaten VV countless times with my Branded Witchcrafter by utilizing Super Poly in combination with Ash, Belle and DD Crow, but what I find to be underrated is the DRNM and Evenly Matched combination. With Thrust, this combination is just insane. You’ll need more than just handtraps and imo, DRNM in combination with other handtraps and board breakers is still an extremely dangerous card and something VV players need to be aware of.

The reason i dont like DRNM is because pure VV doesnt really care, they can just summon a fresh skull guardian. Against Melodious or Branded its definitely better. But i still think there are better options against the deck

Beyond is a L2, Exceed is a L3.

This deck is very easy to beat. Especially if ur deck has a ton of extenders and ur deck can run a lot of non engine. The deck is so simple it HAS to play melodies engine to even compete.
