Opponent wasted his brawl on 3 minions with 5 total damage, knowing that Savjz was holding an Un'Goro Pack likely to be filled with huge stuff... Terrible play there. (Also made a very dubious play at the start attacking with the Tar Creeper)

The combo you're mentioning takes 3 cards, so it's generally not that good. With doom, on the other hand, it becomes amazing.

Why do people do that like the guy at the end? Knew they lost and lethal was clearly displayed on board, ends his turn then proceeds to get smacked in the face, on 1 hp just before the final hit, concede, why?

Murdeli0 maybe you played dirty rat too early. There are 3 combo minions you can pull out so it's best to do it when your opponent has at most 10 cards in the deck

I still don't know why people play the sorcerers apprentice quest mage. It almost needs a full hand's worth of cards to combo. I always played it with arcane giants and antonidas. If you dirty rat that I don't really care. I can make 3 giants in a turn that's usually enough.

Solrak1 ok but the first one list isn't really better than second? The second one has more tempo, more minions (N'zhot into 2 eggs is pretty poor imho but who knows) but first one is more control and has huge value on giants and 7+ mana minions!

Welll, I kinda disagree because having a different type of deck on ladder other than aggro implies playing a bigger variety of cards, like dirty rat. And if your draws are shit while playing waygate mage you basically can't win against aggresive decks. So I think it's nice and welcome having at least one combo deck on leader that also requires a big set-up

Precisely to make them disappear faster. if you click a card as it comes up it goes away. most people who play hearthstone know what all the cards do, so they do this reflexively.

Technically true but it's not the same watching a silent video, I watch people like Savjz and Firebat because they're interesting people on top of being good at a game I like. I know this doesn't affect like 99.9% of the audience (although you'd be surprised how many of us there are, far more than I thought years ago) but it's just disheartening whenever it's this common, basically everyone has just been highlighting games that happen to have come during meals for whatever reason. It's one thing to need to skip a video a week or so but when over half of the content on the new expansion is unwatchable it's just a bummer.

You may not desire to, but situations like this are probably excellent scenarios for you to practice exposure therapy. You have full control over volume, can even hide his face to prevent visual triggers and see most of video still, or apply some other noise that is calming/pleasant to you (meditation sounds/noisli.com/etc?) that will drown out the intensity of the unpleasant sounds. I understand the frustration of your condition, so I am not trying to say it can be solved easily and it isn't a real problem. But due to a lack of current scientific understanding of this issue and similar ones, often the best general approach is to tackle the problem through therapeutic approaches. It is difficult, but in many cases sufferers are overwhelmed, and fear their affliction is permanent and unchanging. So they are not open to the idea that therapeutic techniques can help, or feel that it invalidates their issue. But that fear is often a result of anxiety, which does have correlations with this specific issue. And the horribleness of anxiety/depression/etc is often their power to completely change your perspective and make you feel there is no other way to view life but through their self-fulfilling lenses. Just the act of attempting change, thus believing it's possible, is often powerful enough to shift the perspective in the right direction which at minimum helps allievate that feeling of helplessness and open avenues for change.

You're definitely right that there is a lack of understanding of the issue. That being said, from what I've read the closest explanation is that it's a defect in the nervous system near the ears. Certain sounds agitate nerves that they shouldn't normally be agitating which activates parts of the brain that shouldn't normally be activated in that way. I've spoken to and read the stories of many other people will the disorder and have never heard of exposure improving the situation at all, which is consistent with that explanation. It's not quite like a phobia. To contrast, I also use to have pretty bad arachnophobia but through years of encountering them have greatly diminished it, I can still get that deer in lights moment of blank panic occasionally but for the most part am pretty good about just smashing the little fuckers. Imagining a spider can produce similar creepy sensations as well but imagining trigger sounds doesn't really do much of anything at all, I can "hear" chewing in my mind all the day without it mattering which further leads me to believe that something about the physical sound wave is doing the bulk of the work. It's just nice to vent occasionally. On the plus side the last time I brought this up on a Hearthstone video everyone just told me to kill myself so thanks for not being irrationally hostile about me being irrationally irritable.
