I feel like even if you don't get or use it you could put Baseball Card in all of these "How to beat X challenge" thumbnails and it'd still be correct.
I wonder if Verdant Leaf is hard coded to be the final boss in this challenge run. That would certainly be funny, if not a bit cruel.

I actually took the ceremonial knife on this challenge because I thought it might still gain the mult even if it can't destroy a joker just like how madness increments anyway. It does not, but I had madness too so I still had a pretty easy time even with the wasted slot

It makes sense the knife wouldn't work it clearly states destroy that joker to the right and gain X bonus. It also probably works that way to prevent knife from scaling infinitely with eternal jokers in higher stakes.

The wording should say "Destroy the joker TO gain the mult"
ankh doesnt say you need space, you couldve had 2 joker copies at the end

I assume he’s tried it before and it doesn’t work which is why he didn’t bother trying to see if it would work
This challenge... I had a great run with ride the bus and judgement decided to give me the joker that treated all card as face cards...
Eternal jokers serve no downside 🔥
To the comment someone asked about the ceremonial dagger working anyway: it does not. I know because I've used eternal jokers to protect my other jokers from the dagger before and it did not scale up. By contrast the Madness joker has separate effects for the scale up and destruction, so it will scale up even if no joker is destroyed.

is it just me or is that always the final boss of that challenge? I have seen 4 games so far of that challenge and they all end with that boss blind.

I believe it's called, "Getting Balatro'd.".
I just got a holographic madness in a pack in ante 1 and it carried my run
Definitely enjoying Balatro a lot more than Slay, I constantly had to search to cards and effects in STS
