I always bring atleast 2 buckets of water so I can set up a water source in the end. It helps because if inpiller up with water and the dragon eliminates the water source, I have somewhere to go to get more

I think they made the Ender Dragon a little bit harder. She kicked my butt around as well, two weeks ago. I'm liking the single view shots you been adding in the videos. Friendly reminder don't use dirt in the end for pillaring out, Endermen like to move/remove dirt blocks on you. I would go with cobblestone in place of dirt. Awesome Video, Prowl. She was being "extra" when I fought her, too. And as you said, it was very annoying, but I beat her the first time. Thanks for the tips!

No one mentioning that you can use piglin bartering to get ender pearls as well? Can be a really fast and easy way, especially if you have a gold farm (essential for a fully discounted trading hall)

Definitely glad I'm not the only one that has problems with the End Dragon sometimes. I'm wondering if Mojang has upped her difficulty at some point in the last 6 months? 🤔

I would agree to this. Watching older videos on the tube, it doesn't seems nearly as hard then. Even on easy, it was pretty tough for me, like his video showed.

My first Dragon Fight (Early-Mid 2022) I died twice on Peaceful (I do switch to Easy when I really need to)

I don't think they upped the difficulty of the dragon, but the parity changes they made to armor definitely affected the difficulty of the fight. Netherite has less knock back protection, and armor absorbs much less damage than it used to.

Also, don't forget to not set up your chests within the initial obsidian area, if you die, anything you put there will vanish!

Found that out the hard way my first time fighting her. Set up an enderchest with a buttload of potions that I wound up 4000 blocks away from after dying the first time. 😂

Great episode as always! I killed the dragon again last night and it was the most difficult boss fight I've ever had. I've killed the dragon a heap of times but last night was definitely the most difficult. Popped a totem and went thru a stack of golden apples.

Finally got around to killing the ender dragon a couple of months ago. Your tips helped a lot.

Actually you can take scaffolding with you. This will help massively because ender dragon attacks to you not to other blocks. If you stack up these things and run away from it when she comes you can pillar up with no problem. But, I would recommend making a flying machine to get elytra first then taking out the dragon much easily.

Bring xtra ender pearls. You can use them to teleport on top of the obsidian columns and teleport away from the dragon when she is charging you. Also you can pearl down to the surface and take way less fall damage when she knocks you into the air

Oh,you might think th at scaffolding would be good to bring. It’s not. Bring slime blocks instead

Good tips, Prowl, as ever. I would also recommend a spyglass, so you can get the "Is it a plane?" achievement! :- )

I normally get my pearls from the potion dude hrrrrrrrr....especially as I have rotting flesh in abundance

If someone out here plays Java only, Yes the EnderDragon in Bedrock is different as well, she might not have her crazy insane knockback BUT she charges, swoops down, and fire fireballs upclose unlike in Java

This would have been more fun to watch live though! Although you would’ve taken away all of the redeems again great video and excellent video editing moon!!

Keep in mind scaffolding is easy to get and really good for pillaring up because if she knocks you off you don't immediately lose all your progress, and you can immediately break it from the bottom

That dragon fight was how my first fight on bedrock went. I was not prepared because I knew the java strategy where she flies away and only comes down now and then. It took a few tries to develop another strategy for this version. A minor parity issue, but one I didn’t know beforehand.

Your experience with the dragon where she is incessantly attacked you no matter what? That has been my experience with the ender dragon EVERY SINGLE TIME I've tried to fight her. I've only ever managed to defeat her ONCE so far. 😢

Does pouring lava over the silverfish spawner no longer works? I'm still hesitant to break it. I was thinking about using moss to pillar up/down, since it's easier to break by hand. Something I'm wanting to try next time I face the End Dragon is to use ladders to get up to the top of the pillars as you can place them a lot quicker then pillaring up by placing blocks. I'd be interested if anyone has tried this before?

I haven't but scaffolding goes up quick too since you can place it all on ground level. The only issue is she blows up anything that is put down.

I’ve always found scaffolding to be easier than pillaring with any other block and the ability to take it all down by hitting the bottom section is so quick.

i’ve always done water because you can spam it as you go up and you can fall down on it

I was lucky in my world. The stronghold was like 500 blocks from spawn.

Prowl ik this is an old topic but with add-ons/resource packs like trading helper it says failed to import when I open it to Minecraft. Is there a way to fix this?

*Pro-tips* : - You don't have to climb all the way to the top of the obsidian pillar, you can use your bow for *All* crystals, even the ones with the cage. - You can use snow ball if you have a "doudou" aim with bow. - When the Dragon “perch”, hit the head instead of the corps. It deals way more damage! - Also don't forget to bring potion of strength and slow falling. Potion of health and regeration are also welcome for your first fight. - For deal with the ender man, you can create a safe area by placing a bucket of water in a flat area or build a roof (5×5) somewere in the dragon island. Like that if you are chased by one of those devil's creature you can easily kill them in those type of defences. If you have any question …

Fix the door on the storage building!

DON'T Build on the obsidian platform you come in on, anything build on it will disappear once you or someone port's to the end

Great Video, But I would have rather watched it live so I could better understand and see what really happened during the fight

Maybe a horse would make the trip easier.... I usually look for a stronghold using one.

If you have real good aim, you can shoot the ones in the cages from the floor too

It's not possible in bedrock

Pro tip make a second copy of the world go into spectator mode and look for the stronghold

piglin trades can also give u pearls

The ender dragon is glitched at least on consoles. She can hit me through like 5 blocks of end stone above my head. It's quite frustrating

That's not a glitch. You can't hide from the end dragon, and she can fly through any block.

It’s probably because you called her a but lol she has feelings 😂

If you add a pressure plate on the inside of your door, you won't have to close it behind you anymore.

Is there a closer stronghold to base? Anyone else following along in the world?

Piglin bartering is extremely fast in collecting ender pearls. I won't lie you'd have to allt of gold, but what else are you going use all that gold for anyway? Lol
