That’s what I do. Just keep building off the basics and adapting. Whatever you do make them play defense. I had one ask me the other day why I kept cutting, “that’s clearly who you want to defend that’s why you’re sitting on him” lol I also love the ones who bring a Gobert and offball and I’m just like, I can offball a lot better than you, I don’t even have to guard that guy

I’m not sure what part you’re talking about?? Are you talking about the backdoor cut?? I believe it works the same. It’s the menu you use to call plays for that player as well

anyone know how to run 5 out on current? i lit cant do anything with my c sitting in the paint ill drive and get met by wemby. i try to pass to my center, wemby there aswell. thanks in advance!

My hands messed up so I can’t press l2 on defense so I off ball and have learned how to defend all of this. But let me tell y’all from experience those back door cuts and double screen plays are gonna kill the average player cause man oh man they used to frustrate me especially the back door cuts. I know they coming and couldn’t do nothing about it 😭

No. Unfortunately you can’t setup the offense before the game, just the defense

I’m confused about these people mentality because off ball is real basketball periooooood!! There kids!!!! They want us to play on them so they can blow past us. Admit it!!! And when they say man up they can’t play defense themselves!! It’s real basketball! In real life if a dude runs passed your teammate, your just gonna let that guy score? 😂 I’m amazed by this because they have been brainwashed to think that somebody is supposed to play the entire play in front of them while they call screens to shoot like we are not playing against the “cpu” right there. Why not tell them to go back and forth to center whoever and back in front of them? No they go into a rant because we’re not doing what they want us to do and then the name calling comes into play. And these dudes don’t even call plays. They just bring the ball in and dribble to death and either shoot or drive. Apparently this so called best player in the world I heard about also calls plays and picks so what the entire fluck are these dudes thinking online doing? And it be these damn streamers brainwashing them with this stupid thinking of defense! I don’t understand why they just don’t stay in the playground or city if they want to play playground basketball. Uggghhh!🤦🏾‍♂️

Thanks for watching the video. Not gonna lie that was a lot to digest. I think you should run plays and run pick n roll and have offball screens and offball cuts. Real basketball is all those things. I don’t think you should abuse broken mechanics in the game though. In real life if the guy guarding me when I don’t have the ball cheats off or stops paying attention to me, I cut. As a big if I see a guy lose sight of a wing I set an offball screen to get my guy even more space or get the switch onto a little. Basketball is all these things. 1:1 is something you do at the park, 5v5 should be a flowing consistent movement working together on both ends

It’s fine if you switch whenever a person blows past you, but if you purposely hide away from playing on ball defense then you’re just not good at 2k😂. If that was the case then you should just play offline instead of only playing one side of the ball. People like you ruin the game lmao. You really paid for a basketball game to only play one side of the ball. You’re ass

I like to stagger my scoring. SGA will usually get 10-15 in the first and then Glen comes in, we run more plays and he gets 10-15 in the second. I feel like I don’t have offensive lows that way

Turn on on court communication. I think it’s in coach settings. Remember to turn it on before you go in a game or you’ll have to do it again each time
