I’ve heard reports of people getting Kingdra in the second slot, for that I recommend a fairy type like Togekiss, gardevoir, granbull etc.

Just fought him for groudon from my 12am rocket balloon. And he had shadow kingdra in the second slot. If it doesn't have dragonbreath, I recommend a good dragon for against the kingdra such as rayquaza dragonite, salamence, etc and if it does have dragonbreath, a good fairy type such as togekiss, gardevoir

I used machamp mamoswine and kyogre because I've types are strong against dragon in case he has a kingdra

@@user-yq2gz3nh7l normally yes ice would be super effective on dragon. Kingdra however is also part water so ice would only do neutral damage to it.

Some people have been saying they got kingdra so I might bring a gardevoir or togekiss

If you do not have an ice or water type then do not worry you can also use a grass type I used Venusaur

I don't know if this team is good. But I'll be using: 1st: Analiape w/Ice Punch 2nd: Lapras 3rd: Kyogre

Probably Terrakion (with Sacred Sword), Mamoswine and Kyogre (with Surf)

Take a Togekiss to couter the Groudon it doesn’t deal super effective damage but it resists most if not all it’s moves

My shadow fighting-type Pokémon got annihilated in the first round.

got my very first 3 star shadow giovanni legendary from this one!

I uaed stunfisk with muddy water to get those shields, poliwrath with powerup punch and ice punch, and mantine with bubble beam and i finally got it. The problem I kept running into was I kept running out of time before my pokemon we even done for

The team i used to pretty easily beat him on my first try is 1 Rypherior 2 Mega Blaziken 3 Kyogre Edit i think the second pokemon he used was Nidoking

For lineup for beginners use herracross, schyter and tsareena

He has a Kingdra in his middle spot this time

I’ll be using machamp, kyogre and magikarp because im confident i will win with these 3

you also get 2 free hits in at the start of the battle before they attack. For me I'd go: primal kyogre first, 2 hits to get a bit of special charge up then switch to machamp, fight till feint, dragonite second and kyoge to finish off groudon. (although when he had shadow kyogre for the last rocket takeover I beat all 3 with just dragonite because it knows superpower and dragon claw 😂)

If you have a high level Melmetal with DIB you can easily sweep Persian and any of the second Pokemon, then switch into a strong water type like Swampert

I just took down Giovanni on my first attempt. My lineup were of Persian, Garchomp, and Groudon. I used Scrafty (level 33 - Counter, Power-up Punch) , Flygon (level 32 - Mud Shot and Dragon Claw)& kyoger (surf). I managed to defeat him with just two Pokémon (scrafy, flygon). The trick is to use the time delay effectively and spam attacks. Good luck!

But you also can use Maxas for Snobilikat and my maxas solo the First two pokemon from Giovanni

My team: Shiny, Kyoga (attacks: waterfall and surf Conkeldurr (attacks: counter and brutal swing Mamoswine (attacks: powdered snow, and avalanche

Shadow groudon seemed a bit pointless wonder whats the next one going to be (yes only saying it felt useless as i got lucky enough to attend and catch Shundo during raid day)

Yeah I got the kinda I used a 2 greninja with water shirkin to stall his shields a decimeter with magical leaf for kinda and my second greninja on groudon

Man I use sawk for getting rid of his shield and then use machamp to do the rest but he died right before Groudon does so I bring out leafeon and let her finish the job

Well I have a buzzwole which is a fighting type I have glaceon and I might use empoleon for the water type,so I might use that team

Use this strategy with power up punch Lucario and enjoy sweeping the entire match.

Annihilape with counter & ice punch soloed him

Guys, If You get Garchomp for #2 Pokemon Use these pokemon(i used these Pokemon and won) 1# Persian vs Hitmonchan. Hit monchan Type advantage agaisnt Persian 2. Gardevoir Vs Garchomp Gardevoir Kills Garchomp even while like 10 to 40% hp 3. Vaporeon Vs Groudon Type adv. Now that might seem like not a good match up, But Here the Battle explanation. After Hitmonchan takes out Persian,(use attack so giovanni loses 1shield) Nick down Some Hp of garchompand if you can use another atk so no more shield and then it will die. Garchomp is now stunned So Gardevoir Takes out gar chomp becuz Another type adv Dont take Out A atk on him bcuz Even without Ability it wins.(it prob still has10-40% hp so Use an atk agaisnt Groudon Then after, gardevoir dies.If you cant use a Special atk using Hitmonchan earlier Groudon Uses an atk But since You still have 2x shield use one Then spam Vaporeon As fast as u can while Taking As much as you can special atks. That Is how i did mine :)
