Grass is a must, not Electric. Since the only Fast move Kyogre can learn is *WATERFALL* , and Grass types resist Waterfall. Waterfal is a slow fast move meaning it'll take time for it to use Blizzard, the only Ice type move on Kyogre. So don't bring Electric, bring Grass instead.

@@jozimastar95 depends if you got rolled in Blizzard because you wouldn't know until they use it. NPC Pokemon neither have Charged 2 moves nor Legacy moves. This means Kyogre can't have Origin Pulse or Thunder. Which means either 2 Water Charged moves or Blizzard.

Zekram would be very resistant against kyogre, too. However ground types like Giovanni's 2nd pokemon would be lethal to electric types.

I lead with mammoswine. Deal a bit of damage while charging up powder snow to almost full. Switch to machamp until death. Back to mammoswine. Defeat Garchomp then deal little bit damage to Kyogre, switch to Roserade. Tried all sorts and this is what worked. Barely. All my pokemon above/around 3000CP too.

Zarude is my favorite pokemon.. he's though.

I beat him twice. I got a 1 star and a 2 star Shadow Kyogre. Thank you for the information.

Bruh.... you lead with abomasnow, switch to lucario. Beat Persian. Then use abomasnow on the second mon, farm down, lead with a grass knot to throw against the kyogre, and then switch into a hard counter to kyogre.

Great advice, used Machamp, Mamoswine and Zekrom and beat him first go, but only got a 1 star Kyogre.

But how do you get the looming in the shadows Special Research??? someone please tell me I am absolutely desperate to get that Kyogre 😰

That’s an old research that he’s just using for the clip. This rocket takeover event will NOT feature its own special research and instead will be a continuation of the Season special research “Timeless Travels” that you already have. Progress through that and you’ll find Giovanni.

Just keep trying every few hours till he uses the Rhypior , I ran into that issue with his garchomp as well but found that work around

Water > Ice just in case they’re running rock type charged moves or Rhyperior is running a rock type fast move could possibly be better so the battle doesn’t turn out so close

After several defeats from Giovanni, I barely won with an Alolan Exeggutor and my Shadow Kyogre was 3 stars, and I got it in time to change its Frustration Charged Move to Origin Pulse with an Elite TM!

I haven’t got the new team rocket go special research yet and I’ve never gone past the first page of the past researches

With Garchomp as his second, I breezed through his team with a CD Conkeldurr. I've rematched grunts, so although my IVs were pretty good, it felt underwhelming

Should I save the rocket radar or keep it your advice really helps maybe one day shadow Raquazza can come :( or should I make new Pokemon account and have another account just in case for things

I still haven't got the tasks for kyogre I have completed the previous research tasks on 26th January and caught regigigas. But in the next day or even now I haven't received the latest research tasks😢😢😢😢

My best setup was Lucario first burn shields, use one Power up punch on the second slot pokemon and then bring in glaceon for anyone on a budget and for last use mega sceptile or mega Venusaur but make sure they have spammy moves all take lots of damage from the second slot as well as kyogre good luck yall!

I already have my kyogre + he had a rhyperior. I used an ursaluna with a fighting fast attack and thunder punch, chesnaught, and jolteon.

Thanks daxi I used a balanced team which is Machamp Counter Dynamic Punch Mamoswine Avalanche Deciduye Frenzy plant IMPORTANT TIP I recommend Lanturn cuz it’s surf could take out his Rhyperior and it’s thunder bolt could do good to Kyorge plus it resist both moves kyogre uses

So now i can't stack the radar

Tips, must attack on WB to get best CP Shadow Kyogre. I get 1498 CP on WB 😂. Using last rocket radar event.

I got the crappiest shadow Kyogre out of this event. You only get one and every time I catch Giovanni's pokemon, they have the worst stats. So disappointing!

Yea that is very rare dont purify. If you do it will go up in stats and not become as rare I have about 20 100% but only one 0%. Do not purify

Ice is weak to rock so if you get rhyperior then it’s a rip. I’d pick grass for kyogre because electric doesn’t resist water.

Is there an IV floor for shadow kyogre? And can it be weather boosted?

It's always his second slot that gets me. I used my highest grass type and their charged attack does next to no damage. I have been stuck on this shadow trainer for a very long time. Time to give up?
